Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Still scratching, Pindara also scoots over, "What is it?"
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Did they see? Do they know?
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara tries to remain inconspicuous.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Now in almost wild abandon the sorceress lets fly with another mystic bolt!
Magic Missile (1d4=1) +1 of course, which leaves a final result of 2.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Unable to restrain herself, in her fear Pindara lets fly a bolt of energy at the thing.
Magic Missile (1d4+1=2)
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Will (1d20+3=4)
Pindara's scratching becomes more pronounced, "Why are we here?" she mutters to herself fearfully.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara starts scratching her arm, feeling the itch to use magic but unable to trust her companions.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
"Yeah, let's get out of here. I kind of get nervous talking about tomb robbing in the street."
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
"Let's do that," Pindara says as she removes the nets, "And we're asking the questions here."
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara dashes down the pier to the dog fight throws a piece of litter to distract them. "Hey mutts, over here!" Daren't risk a spell... so nearly did...
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara keeps running down the first pier. Ha! Catch me trying to jump across boats...
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Using the same rolls
Pindara sees that there's no way for it but to either dash round the buildings or daash across the boats. She decides for the buildings.
1d20=7, 1d20=11
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara sticks to the shore and runs along the side of the docks, avoiding any encounters with boats. Well, this is a damn stupid idea...
1d20=7, 1d20=11
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara heads off without appearing to rush.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara finds Jaku later on, "Hey," she says in a neutral tone, "You said something earlier about getting into the catacombs. How big are they? Where d'you think our burnt man would make his 'sanctuary'? No use going there if we're going to run around like headless fowl."
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Diplomacy (1d20+5=8)
Pindara can't bring herself to really talk to any of these scummy folk beyond the normal pleasantries, obviously.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Ha! :D
Pindara pulls a face and brushes aside the hanky, "I'm fine." she says curtly.
"Let's find this freak and get out of here."
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara rolls her eyes at the effete priest's behaviour.

SargonX wrote: I should have made this clear earlier: A untrained Knowledge check is just an Intelligence check. So with a DC of 15, anyone can attempt it. Not that there's any big secret behind that spoiler tag... :) I realise that untrained Knowledge is an Intelligence check but I thought the limit was DC10 information.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
I don't have Know (local) so I can't get DC 15 knowledge :(
Pindara snaps, "Well, the docks then?"
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
"Bedu, I won't get to talk to her again; the barman was quite adamant that we'd talked long enough. The only way would be to wait for her to get off work, or for me to take the barman up on his job offer. Which isn't going to happen." Pindara says, all pretence of being a shy potter dropped.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
"Girl claimed they were in love, and that he has a place down in the catacombs. She didn't know where though. They always met here or at an inn. He sometimes works at Barge End." she relays.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara reassures the girl and goes out to meet Liet.
Glaring at him she says in a steely undertone, "Good going, priest. Next time tell them where I live. First rule; don't use my name." her whole attitude seems different to when they were at dinner. As if that persona were a front, or maybe this one is.
When they get somewhere safe, she tells the others what she discovered from the girl, "He used to be shacked up with her; he has a lair in the catacombs somewhere."
Sorry she's being a b!tch, Rad! :(
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara comforts the girl, "Hey, it's ok, it's ok... don't worry, I won't tell anyone. And... I'll have a word with this guy to make sure he doesn't either. Did you see where he went?"
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
"Who, that guy just then? What was wrong with him?" Pindara asks in an innocent manner. "He seemed kind of surly."
Deception (1d20+9=22)
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara's attitude changes yet again to one of almost motherly concern, despite not being very far apart in age from the girl, "It's ok, honey, the guy out there said I could come back here. Are you alright?"
She flicks her eyes to the door and raises her eyebrows to indicate to Liet that he should leave.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pervert thinks Pindara as Liet lays his money down.
"Oh thanks," she says, "That's awful nice of you," and flashing a grin.
She makes her way to "chat" to some of the girls.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara smiles sweetly and says, "Oh, sorry, I didn't know! I guess I was sort of curious. I've always wondered what it would be like to be a dancer here. Do you think I could talk to the one who just went in? Y'know, girl talk?"
The contrast between her normal manner and the one she adopts is somewhat startling; she makes an attempt at appearing ditzy. Whether it wins over the barman is another matter...
Deception (1d20+9=16)
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara goes back to find the girl who had the encounter with the man with the burnt face. Casual-like.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
"Me? Well, I can try," Pindara says grudgingly.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
"Bedu," Pindara says urgently, "This burned man; there was a man just now who came into the inn. None of you saw him but he was burned on his face. Could this be the man?"
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara looks oddly at Bedu, "Well, fine, yes; I'll meet you all. I don't know how I can help, but anything for a friend."
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara misses bedu's question about pots and glares in horror at the burnt-face man.
"Did you see that?" she asks.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Spot (1d20+4=20)
I'm in a den of crazy people! thinks Pindara as she sees the altercation between the man and the dancer. I thought Bedu might be a sympathetic ear, but there's something not right about him...
"So, er, what are you hoping to find out there in these tomb things?" she asks.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
What do they know?! Who mentioned sorcerers? What are they driving at?
"I don't really know anything about that sort of thing. It's a bit beyond me. Was it difficult coming here, for you Bedu?"
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
"They say don't believe everything you hear, but I reckon there's something to it. But who's to say what's causing it?" Pindara says casually.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
"Well, that's the way things are," replies Pindara, "They have to check we're who we say we are,"
She taps her fingers impatiently on the table, waiting for her tea.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara's eyes narrow as the man asks about how they know one another.
Why's he so interested? she thinks.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Pindara considers briefly before saying "Spiced chai. Please." she adds as an afterthought.
An attractive, dark-haired woman with a serious expression, she tends to get quite intense in conversation and debate.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Thanks Bedu, it's good to be in the company of friends.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
I hope this works - she's a pretty ordinary person in everyday life, but in the company of fellow rebels is a bit of a zealot.
Female Human (Iskandrian) Sorcerer 1
Just started work on Pidara, illegal spellcaster and possible ally of Bedu in the resistance (if that's agreeable).
