Agreeing to Egan's plan, Phiona went over to the sleeping bandit, and when she's about to tied him up, she realise this sort of job is better done to someone that knows how to tie a knot. She asked both Sergei and Alagor for their assistance in tying up the still bandit that are unconscious.

The bandit had his turn so it's mine again right? He still have the frighten status until it's his turn right? Phiona armed herself with the longbow she borrowed, and aim it at the bandit leader as he's running for his life. To Hit: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (19) - 3 = 16
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
As Phiona seen that the bandit leader is running away, (could she see that he felt prone on the other side?) she drop the ladder back down so others could climb back up on the walls. "Hurry! We must get him before he runs back to his hideout." Also would dropping the ladder down be considered a move action? If not assume I'm holding my action for now, if so then I think I'm done for this round. Can't do anything else :/
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
Sorry for that, but I think I can pass this as holding my action until now =], @Egan I think he's rolling to regain conscious rather than stabalizing. Seeing that the bandit moved closer to Phiona, she began casting a spell (Cause Fear). Not sure how to roleplay causing fear with spell, just gonna pretend as if I'm intimidating or something. "The power of Shelyn compells you!" Phiona shout as she points her finger at the bandit leader, Cause Fear: Will Save DC14, If he failed the Will Save, he is frightened for 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds. If he succeed in pasing the Will Save, he is Shaken for 1 round.

@Dom I would assume I'm looking down towards the bandit, whereas you're to the right of me. You're not in my line of sight, and if I succeed my perception, I guess you could say I saw it at the corner of my eyes. Holy Level batman. At least we now know that the bandit leader is level 5, or he would've been shaken by my dazzling display. Assuming level 5 because 10 + 1(will modifier) + 5(level) is needed to overcome my dazzling display.

Perception check:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 I don't think I could see that Domitian need help healing, sorry XD. Phiona snaps her whip and does flourishes with it, showing the bandit her whip battling prowess. (Dazzling Display) Dazzling Display, Intimidate check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 Dazzling Display:
Phiona's Dazzling Display demoralize all opponent within 30 feet that could see her display. Considering the leader practically points at me, they would probably all see me. So they have to do a save of "10 + the target’s Hit Dice + the target’s Wisdom modifier" if they couldn't make it pass my Intimidate check, they are shaken for 1 round and this duration increases by 1 round for every 5 by which I beat the DC. If they succeed, nothing happens and I'd probably look like a tool =[. Shaken condition: A shaken character takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. Shaken is a less severe state of fear than frightened or panicked.

I'm assuming I could shoot as well after casting sleep? Phiona finished casting her spell, and she readied her bow to shoot at the bandit that resisted her spell. Number of Bandit resisted my spell:
If they all resisted, then I shoot at leader If two of them resisted and one of them is the leader, I'll shoot at the leader. If two resist and the leader failed, then I shoot at the one closest to me (Q18) If I can hit on this action: Longbow To Hit:1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 Longbow Damage:1d8 ⇒ 8

I would just suggest killing them during battle. For some reason I felt no remorse killing something during battle. However if they surrender and then you kill them, at least my character doing think it's right unless someone could justified this action. E.g. If the person raped 10 women, 2 children and 1 man then killed them and ate their body or display them in public. If he surrender great, but after that I would kill him due to my duty. However if that person didn't do much wrong except for being a bandit, and just following the order of the leader or he/she'll probably get killed. Then I would allow him/her to start a new life, provided he/she won't do bad things again. (at least not intentionally)
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
Phiona moves out to see the group(5ft step), grabs some rose petals from her spell pouch, mumbled a few word to herself, and cast sleep. She targets P17, and it has a 10ft radius, so the bandits at P15, O18 & Q18 have to do a Will DC14 save to negate.
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
"Oleg fixing the stable?" Phiona said jokingly, then added. "I believe my sleep spell would come in handy, but I need a good vantage point to see the courtyard, the wall over here seems to be a pretty decent spot for me to hide and still view the yard." Phiona points to the right hand side of the wall as she speaks.
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
I see I'll do the casting at surprise round and on next turn finish casting it. I think standing on the gate would do best for me. So any of the S20, T20 or U20 would do me good, as I could 5ft step out and be in line of view to the bandit.
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
Assuming when the gate opens it'll take up N19 & N20. And so standing on M19 would get me cover since it seems like the gate would touch the guest house and seal off that passage towards the stair. I won't be doing the barricade, consider I need to open a sleep spell with my surprise round. Hmm actually I don't think I could close the gate and cast spell could I? If I could I'll do that, If I couldn't then I'll hide S20 on top of the balcony thinggy, hiding (behind a barrel that I moved up there). Depending if I get a surprise round. If I do, then I'll cast "sleep" for my surprise round. If I don't then Hopefully I have a high enough initiative to do so. In conclusion, I think it's best if I hide on S20, rather than closing the gate. So could someone take my position?
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
done, could we just grab the item, or I would have to pay for them? Oh snap, please tell me the gate open inward and not outward. If it's inward, then hiding behind L19 or M19, to close the door on the left (facing outward) and hiding behind R19 or maybe R20 to close the one on the right.
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
"Sergei's right, we should cast spells before we confront them. Alagor you could hide in the shed, and only about 10 seconds or so from hearing the gate being shut off would you emerge, along with others? I suppose? I'm okaying at hiding, but with concealment it'll be easier to hide, I could shut off the gate along with Andrej." Phiona discussed with the group then added, "I'll also be able to get to better vantage point, but first I would like to know if here's a bow that I could borrow?" Phiona heads toward the trade shed, then the back storage room if there isn't a bow and some arrows handy on the shed already.
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
After a moment of deep thought, Phiona added,
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
"I'd certainly help in some form, though it'll not be as distinct as a justice serve with a sword to the gut, but I'll help, I reassure you." Phiona turn to the group and gave a "sorry for making you do stuff without your permission" look toward Alagor, "So we have any plans for how to deal with the bandits tomorrow?" She then turn back towards Svetlana and asked how many are we expecting.
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
After nodding and receiving a tankard of ale (Assuming it is ale, or change to whatever drink she's pouring) Phiona expressed her point of view regarding this matter, Not sure if bluff check is needed, as the only part I'm lying about is my name 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 well I guess I slip up on my name completely or just about. "Why how bold of them. Robbing you every month, it's outrageous, I promise you that I Phi.. Phillip will assist that fine gentleman over there in taking down this bandit." Phiona realise that she's not really a competent combatant, and pointing her index finger at Alagor, when she mention the "fine gentleman".
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
Oh yeah I forgot to mention, I'm still disguise as a man right? DC22 as shown on the time I disguise myself. Being greeted so cheerfully by someone, filled Phiona with high spirit, and the mentioning of food, just made her day. Hurriedly Phiona followed Svetlana closely and walk into the guest house as Svetlana opened the door. As Svetlana entered the room, Phiona asked her, "Oleg said that we don't look like the guards promised, what did he mean? We are not guards. We're merely adventurers given a charter to draw out the greenbelt and be rid of any bandit amongst these area if necessary, but as Oleg said, we don't like like guards, and definitely not the guards promised."
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
"Oh my house! There's gotta be bed inside right? Sweet!" Phiona is obviously excited to see house and that she could once again sleep in bed. After a few more seconds, she composed herself. "Where's Oleg?" She asked and looked around for anyone present. Perception:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
Oh snap, so glad I'm not playing a wizard or someone that need 8 hours sleep to prepare spell, cuz of watch =p "Hmm I'm still fairly hyped, I'll take the first watch with whomever. Plus, I dislike being waken half way during my sleep. Assume from now on, I'll take the first watch, always. Or last watch if I sleep in early." It seem more of a demand, rather than suggestion the way Phiona made it, but she didn't meant to sound that way.
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
Assuming Anza didn't finish the flask "I guess we should have you scout ahead to make sure you get rid of the "trouble" before we risk out lovely guide here, then eh?" As Phiona said that, she inspected the flask, seeing that Anza only took a sip or two, she pass Alagor the flask. Phiona begins to change her appearance to seem more masculine, Disguise Check1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 7 - 2 = 22+7 from rank and Cha mod, -2 from different gender As she finish, she claims that they'll be less of a target if there's more male than female, as her logic dictates that bandit would rather rob a group of girls than a group of guys, normally.(Result of people with 7 wisdom) You could add +6 to Perception check to know that I am still a female, since we are "friends or associates". Taking out a trial breads and hard cheese from within her backpack, and started eating and every so often showing a face that made the bread and cheese seems like a delicious meal.
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
With the business out off the way, Phiona smiled and grab a flask within her cloak and handed it to Anza. "Drink up, it's the wine from the inn earlier today, though it's probably not as warm as it should be. Don't worry, we'll try not to get ourself into trouble if we could help it. Right guys?"
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
"Hmm, how about only 9 copper extra, and you'll have our... my word on it. These extra shouldn't be of concern to you, unless you willingly lead us into troubled area, without telling us in advance... I'm sorry if it sounds like you would be cheating us for extra copper by causing fight, so you could get more coins, I didn't mean it that way." Phiona tries to bargain with her.

I wished to fast forward to Oleg Settling down her baggage, and seeing everyone working on their own things, she doesn't know what else to do, and help Sergei clearing the space, so that the group won't need to sleep on the snow. When they finished she sat down and starts singing to break the silence: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Smelling some delicious scent coming through the door woke up Phiona, but refusing to leave this fairly lovely bed, she tries to sleep in. However not moments later she's hearing someone knocking at the door. Answering the person outside, she left the bed but before could tidy herself, she was led out the door by the smell of food. Quickly rushing down the stair and towards the food, she helped herself to some egg, bread and bacon. After finished stuffing her face, she realise that she's not dressed up to standard. "Sorry I kinda stayed it bed, who know when I'll sleep in a bed from here on out, probably never will. Phiona quickly dash back up the stair and after 5 minutes or so, she finished packing her belongings and walked back down the stairs and thank the innkeeper for his hospitality, Sorry about my unkempt clothes before, thanks for the hospitality, so guys we ready to go?
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
"We should be fine, you can join us too if you want." Phiona offered the innkeeper. think I should be fine, with the heatstone. But it does makes more sense to sleep in a smaller room, so heat would be trap more compactly rather than more spread out in a more open area.
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
"Eh? Oh right. Hmm but there's bed... How about you join me on the bed upstair?" Phiona pulls out a heatstone, and whack it against the floor. It begins to gives heat, but not fully yet. "C'mon guys, we'll drink upstairs to warm ourself, and by the time we're done this little stone will keep us warm, promise!" As Phiona walk towards the stairs, she turn back demanded, "By the way, I would share half the bed, but unfortunately none of you are female, you could still sleep in your bedroll on the floor, the heat would be trapped better if we are all sleeping in a smaller room, than this well space common room." Let me guess the bedroom would only fit like 1-2 people on the floor?
Female Human Bard / 1 (Per: +2 Init:+3 HP 9/9 AC: 15/11/14 F: +1 R: +3 W: +0)
Ah, nah my character is fine with whatever, but she is more of a character that likes to living in the moment, worrying about tomorrow when tomorrow comes etc. And since it's an inn afterall, she'll like to sleep in a bed. =p

Background and personality Spoiler:
Grubby Clark Gable. Firm believer in his own scruffy charms. Evidence suggests his optimism is not completely misplaced. Background: Commissioned Officer (+2 Intimidate). Malick is a mercenary at heart. He likes being alive and he likes winning. Those two things are not always compatible. Ruing has his admiration because he's still alive and he's winning often enough. Ruing stumbled across Malick in a bar when he was fending off an offended husband initially with some well-placed words and later with a well-placed punch in the gut which brought the graduation party to an abrupt halt. A promising career looked as if it was vanishing until Ruing stepped in. Whatever she saw in him (and he really wishes he could remember that night) he's more than repaid. Malick knows quite well that Ruing is the reason he's still around. Cheerfully amoral, he's as happy trading words as blows and regards anyone who crosses his path as fair game to use in whatever way seems most appropriate at the time. Frequent setbacks have never daunted him. As far as Malick is concerned, there will always be another day, another woman, another fight and a full pay packet at the end of it. Malick's problem is pretty simple. Every time he turns around there's another opportunity beckoning to him, each one more alluring than whatever he's doing at the time. Until he met Ruing, his concept of loyalty extended exactly as far as himself. Now Oddjob 101 has his loyalty and that includes everyone in the unit. He likes them. They're his kind of people. In battle, Malick is cheerful, chatty and ruthless, manipulating everyone around him to get what he wants. When he's not in battle, nothing much changes. He has tried many times to seduce Ruing again and never got anywhere. It's a game to him now. Quite what he'd do if she ever responded is a mystery. |
