Liberty's Edge

I'd say it is more than unfortunate, as Paizo and Amazon kept selling products that were known to be defective afterward.

I've ordered hundreds upon hundreds of books from Amazon, and not a single one has been missing that many pages. It's not like they've been ripped out, they AREN'T there, which, as someone who actually works in printing can say it is indicative of printer error.

Stop with the excuses, and stop selling these defective products until the problem has been solved.

You pay for a service. Their cost of delivering that service to you is determined in their pricing. It is their duty to make things right no matter how many times they've got to ship something across the pond.

I'm quite furious that the first two Starfinder products I purchased are defective. Core rulebook with the binding issue and then my Alien Archive arrived missing a dozen or so pages.

So frustrating.

Liberty's Edge

I must say that the quality of publications so far in regards to Starfinder is truly horrifying.

I received my first shipment of the core rulebook from Amazon last week, and upon taking it out of the very well-packaged box, I noticed that the spine was already damaged and separated from the Binding. Quite unacceptable for such a high dollar book. Sadly, Amazon has no copies to replace it with, but according to numerous accounts online, the quality of other rulebooks doesn't increase in the slightest.

Yesterday, I received the Alien Archive from Amazon. Now, at first glance everything seemed fine, but upon closer inspection, I noticed that ten or twelve pages were missing from the book. Thankfully Amazon is shipping a replacement, but to be honest I have very little confidence in it being complete upon arrival.

This equates to two pretty serious strikes, and unless something changes, I don't see myself continuing to purchase products from Paizo.
