Ottarr slashes at the ooze in front of him, reinvigorated. Shift to R1, use Majestic Word on myself(1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 extra) and use Guiding Strike on the ooze(-2 Fort if hit.) 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 231d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d20 ⇒ 3 EDIT: Oh, and someone just posted on the thread I made taking the other position. Apparently no one knows how the hell Satire of Bravery works.

Alright, you were right! I'm sorry for acting like an ass for a brief period before realizing it and editing it out! Just repost the round already! EDIT: I'll wait until the end of the encounter to decide what to replace it with. The guide to bards I was using for advice just used a different interpretation of which order the stuff happened in, I suppose. EDIT EDIT: Screw it, I've decided. I'll trade it for Compulsion. Really, I only got mad because I thought it used the "damn good control" option, not the "damn bad control" option.

EDIT: Alright, that came off badly. Let's just wait for an official response. EDIT: Asking on Wizards' rules Q&A section of their boards. EDIT: That was fast. Alright, it seems you're right. Saving throws are the first thing that happens at the end of their turn. Apologies if I came off as an ass, accept this video(NSFW, probably) as an apology. Also, Expletive Filled Rant:
S#+~ piss f~+* c%@~ c&%@#@*!&~ m%~&+&&~ t+*%, this daily ended up being completely useless because they both rolled above eighteen on their saves g&! d**n it. You know, six out of seven isn't so bad, really.

In that case, would you be kind enough to say that they're dazed until the end of their next turn, since they both ended their turns closer to me than when they started? EDIT: I'm bloodied, by the way.

What, did 23 and 29 vs Will miss vs M1 and B2, respectively? Because otherwise the ones that were hit should have taken 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 psychic damage and be dazed until the end of their next turn, since they both moved at least three squares closer to me. Also, I forgot, Miss: Half damage, so if it missed either of them they still took 6 damage.

"Sturdy, be ready! The fight is not yet lost!" Ottarr steps forward and raises his sword in a challenge. "Come, ye cowards. Face me, if you dare!" Set upon with supernatural fear, two of the creatures flee. Majestic Word on Sturdy(heals 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 extra plus 4 temp HP and slide into Ouda's space to break the grab), move to Q1 and use Satire of Bravery(vs Will, Psychic damage and affected by satire of bravery(save ends)(if they end their turn closer to me than when they started they take 1d6+4 Psychic damage and are dazed until the end of my next turn), Effect: push M1 to R7 and B2 to P7) 1d20 + 11 - 1 ⇒ (13) + 11 - 1 = 231d20 + 11 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 11 - 1 = 292d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 2) + 6 = 12

Ottarr quickly forces his raven off of his shoulder. "Take this." He holds out the vial, and the raven grabs it in it's claws. "Good! Now fly, you fool!" Minor action, switch familiar into active mode. Standard action, attach vial to familiar. Move action, fly familiar to M4, if possible high enough to avoid an OA from HG1 and B2. Spend action point, fly familiar to J9. Check and mate.

More Tactics Talk: Yeah, these things seem like the types to have something similar to sneak attack. No need to get surrounded. Anyway, I think that if we can get the vial I might be able to get Agni to carry it to the tree for us. Whether he could pour it on the heart is another matter, though.

Ottarr move into the brush and curses the plants with bad luck. Move to R12 and use Unluck on T3(vs Reflex, Necrotic damage and next attack by it uses 1d20 ⇒ 15 or what it rolls, whichever is lower, and next attack on it uses 1d20 ⇒ 16 or what they roll, whichever is higher.) 1d20 + 11 - 1 ⇒ (1) + 11 - 1 = 111d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 Of course, doesn't do a damn thing on a miss.
Male Human Bard 7
"Remember the tale of Orlanth." Ottarr mumbles under his breath as he stands up and clouds the dryad's mind, causing her to stumble into Sturdy's maul. Stand up(shift to S9), use my last Majestic Word on myself(slide to R9 and heal 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 extra, along with 4 temp HP EDIT: No longer bloodied), then use Bluder on the woman.(vs Will, if hit slide to O13 and Sturdy can use a basic attack with a +3 bonus to attack.) 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 261d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Male Human Bard 7
I'm down to six hit points. I'm going to take 10 points of damage at the start of the next turn. Someone please get me out of this compost heap before it drains the last of my vital bodily fluids. Also, not that it'd help, but it's still marked by Sturdy so it's at least going to take some damage before it sucks me dry. EDIT: Did you include the -2 to attack from the mark in the attack rolls? Because, if not, then if you factor in the +2 to all defenses from my second wind the first attack missed.
Male Human Bard 7
Ottarr steadies himself, then runs to the hulking mass of vegetation and stabs into it. Second Wind, move to T9, then spend an AP to use Cunning Ferocity on PB(vs Reflex, each ally in 5 squares gets +5 damage to that enemy) 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 211d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 Also, having peeked at Ouda's spoilers and looking at his hit points before that round, I do believe we're screwed and Ouda ran into the next encounter.
Male Human Bard 7
Ottarr readies himself before running past the plant creature. "Sturdy! Remember, even the sturdiest of trees can be chopped down!" Misdirected Mark on T3(vs Reflex, if hit marked by Sturdy until EOMNT), move to Q9(activate Sly Dodge(+4 to AC) if he takes an OA) and use Majestic Word on Sturdy(spends a HS and heals it's value plus 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 along with 4 temp HP, and can slide one square if he wants) 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 241d8 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 Also, sorry Rin, but thanks to your Repulsion Armor you can probably keep the dryad busy until we're done over here/Ouda heals the tree.
