BACKGROUND
Many horrors lurk in the country of Ustalav; among them was the dreaded Tornclaw clan, a shattered remnant of the orcish armies of wars long past. Degenerate and barbaric, they were well-known for their intense hatred of humankind. And yet, among them was a mere half-blood, Orthrik. Though human blood flowed through his veins, he was a hulk of a half-orc, barely distinguishable from his brethren. While he was widely hated for his mixed heritage, many harbored begrudging respect for his sheer ferocity; he was known to fight with naught but tooth and claw, and had a fondness for the taste of flesh.
At any given chance, Orthrik partook in the Hunt - traveling amongst the mountains in his clan's territory, he would stalk and murder humans - usually traders - foolish enough to cross. Each kill was a matter of reputation for him, something he took great pride in. Unfortunately for him, this infamy proved to be his undoing. Increasingly wary of the Tornclaw influence, the humans of nearby settlements banded together and worked to purge the mountains of the clan. Most of the orcs fought to the death, having no understanding of the concept of mercy or surrender. Orthrik however, perhaps as a result of his human blood, knew better.
Turning himself over, Orthrik was declawed and was touted as a symbol of human victory, before being handed over to a more... shady establishment. Humiliated but alive, Orthrik waits patiently, confident that the Hunt will continue.
