About Orsano

Born Julius Radim Lanik, third son of Lord Lanik III in Oppara, Taldor, he has spent most of his life on the outskirts of power and influence. Classically schooled by a bevy of tutors Julius is impeccably mannered, a skilled musician, orator, debater, and fencer. Ambition and no prospect of inheritance pushed him to scheming and political machinations, but to no avail – the oppressive class structure of Taldor afforded him no upward mobility. Julius has fought duels, made himself several enemies and run up notable debts - things were building to a denouement when he began to dream of ancient Azlant.

Julius, or rather Orsano as he now calls himself, in the style of Azlanti, had always had aspirations to grandeur - believed that he was meant for something more - hardly unusual. Once Acvana began visiting his dreams however, and revealed him to be of Azlanti royal descent he knew he was special. Discovering he was actually a bastard his mother had been concealing from his supposed father was a shock, but it also gave him new opportunities. As one door closes, another opens… his ambition will permit nothing less than the refounding of his birthright.

And if disappearing into the jungle allows him to stay one step ahead of his various creditors, cuckolded husbands and angry officials, so much the better!
