About Orpheus the Bold

Orpheus devoted his life to the opera. He wants to build his own opera house - and he wants to be the star in the opera house he is going to build, singing an opera that he wrote himself. He is going to be famous, people from all over the world will come just to see him perform. He has the talent, he knows that. He practiced hard to get the acting and singing skills. All that he still needs is a bit of money to build his opera house - and a good story for his first masterpiece.

So a couple of weeks ago he finally quit the job he had at that mediocre opera house in some rural town (they under-appreciated his talent anyway), destined to become an adventurer for a while. Yes, that would solve both his problems: he would become rich - and he would experience enough adventures first hand to last him throughout the rest of his writing career. So far he hasn't found anything big yet, but any day now, he is going to find it. He can feel it. Just last night he heard of a haunted house somewhere nearby. That could be it, everybody loves to see those melodramatic ghost stories on stage ...
