In the present time, there is a Lich who recently achieved godhood. After doing so he sent his three most powerful and loyal disciples back in time, 650 years, to when he first became a lich.

At the time he was under siege from a more powerful enemy and only managed to achieve lichdom due to the arrival of the 3 disciples.

Before returning to the present, the lich gave them each a gift and a gift to take to himself in the future. Upon returning to the present, they discovered it was his phylactery.
:fin:

I’m pretty satisfied with it but I want to get a commentary from the masses. Does the time-travel make sense, as much as it can? Do you think it’s too much of a vulnerability giving the phylactery to the disciples?

Pro and cons, I’d love to hear it all!

So the Readers' Digest version: A god is slain at the end of a war and while I want his followers' culture to survive but their divine power to be diminished. So I'm planning on removing their 9th level spellcasting, as well as all resurrection spells.

My question is: What would be an adequate replacement for the cleric class? Single or multiple abilities?

A little bit more background on the god:
Zerrai, God of the Sun
Chaotic Good
Loves sports/competitions, life and freedom
Hates deception, undead and slavery
(sort of a Pelor/Kord mix)

Hello everyone!

I'm adding a rather large (15,000+) city to the southern jungle of my current campaign's continent. I want the city to be neutral evil aligned but I'm looking for ideas on how that would shape the city.

How would it affect trade? Government? The average citizen? What distinguishing characteristics would manifest in such a city?

I welcome any and all ideas!

I'm joining an evil group soon and wish to roll a necromancer which, if possible, I would like to have access to both Divine and Arcane magics (partially for flavor, partially for versatility).

Between the Cleric/Sorcerer/Wizard/Oracle/Witch/Mystic Theurge though, I'm not quite sure where to start. Does anyone have an recommended builds/priorities?
