Hey, so I am working on a level 16 character for a high level game. I have been asked to play a DPS style caster, but the group is weak on melee. So I have an interesting idea.

Summoner 4 / Sorcerer 12. Now I know people are not huge on cross classing, these two classes, but let me explain.

At level 16, the Summomer gains his first level 6 spell (the highest he learns). Now at 12 a Sorcerer gains his level 6 spell, so I am not hurting for spells.

My Edilon will have a total of 8 summoning points. Now he is not going to be a tank, just some side DPS. Now at level 4 you only get 7 points unless your a half elf with Summoner as your first favored class. This grants you an additional evolvtion point at 4. So I spend 4 points to make the edilon Large, 2 points for an extra set of limb, 1 point for slam, and 1 point for bite. This give the edilon 2 claw attacks (1d6) l, 1 slam (1d8), and 1 bite (1d8) for his attacks. Now I haven't feated the big guy out yet, but still a fairly nasty single target melee dps.

Now as a Summoner my spells are limited, so I will be sticking with buff/heal edilon spells. For the sorcerer I was thinking Undead Bloodline and going hard on the Necromancy spells, for DPS and control.

Hello friends. I am new to the community, and I am a GM, so I thought I would put together a group for Skull and Shackles. It is my favorite Adventure Path and I am deing to run it.

If you are interested, the game will run for 3 hours from 6:30 pm EST to 9:30 pm EST on Thursday Nights. If you are interested, post here, send me a message, or look me up on Discord Lyman#7747!

Cheers!

Hey, I have been playing pathfinder for years. My friends want as authentic adventure as possible for Skull and Shackles.

I was looking at getting the Inner Sea Primer and Pirates of the Inner Seas, but is the same information covered in The Inner Seas World? I only want to know so I don't go buying the same material over and over.
