No posts. Organized Play character for Clark Clawson.

For reference, the item is on page 73 of Grand Bazaar. It has an activate effect to do a cone of fire with a basic Reflex DC, but there isn't a listed DC for this. Is it just missing or am I missing something?

I feel like we need to acknowledge that with the Wrestler Archetype in the Grand Bazaar, we can create the greatest character build of all time; a tiny wrestler poppet who can suplex anyone. A dragon, an ogre, a train? Doesn't matter.

Class - Fighter (any martial will work though)

Feats
1 - Sudden Charge
2- Wrestler Dedication
4 - Combat Grab
6 - Suplex

This is the complete build. Combat Grab (and Grab in general) does not have a size limitation like Grapple does. A tiny sized poppet can grab a gargantuan dragon. Suplex only requires that you to have a creature grabbed or restrained.

To be clear, this is not a post about me complaining. This is me sharing what can only be the most hilarious thing I've ever seen in a d20 game. If I don't see at least a handful of wrestler poppets in the next big convention, I will be disappointed in all of you.

So, purchasing equipment is pretty straight forward (level+1 if its in the Core, level+2 if its on a chronicle sheet, otherwise level). However, does this restriction apply to crafting as well? I ask because the Anvil of Torag is legal. This means if you kept your skills up with your level, you'd be able to craft items of your level+2. The restrictions outlined in the SFS Guide apply to purchasing equipment. Does this mean that if I purchase an Anvil of Torag in SFS, I can just craft whatever equipment I want (assuming I meet the other crafting criteria), such as crafting a level 9 weapon from the non-core book without it on a chronicle sheet at PC level 7?

So, the entropy gloves allow you to activate them as a reaction when you hit a creature with a melee attack, allowing you to cast Entropic Grasp without provoking an AoO and targeting the same creature. Do you roll a second attack for the gloves or does the triggering attack hitting mean the spell hits as well? I would think you still have to attack with the spell, but I've heard arguments both ways now. Exact text below for reference.

"If you hit with a melee attack (including an unarmed strike), you can use the spell from the gloves as a reaction, targeting the same creature the attack hit, without provoking an attack of opportunity."

So, I have an interesting dilemma which might happen in the near future and has happened in the past. What do I do as the GM if one player is dead set on a path that leads to infamy and the other players want to stop him/her? By the rules, they can't stop them even if that action is evil as that would be pvp, but it seems strange and out of character for them not to intervene. Thoughts?

Edit: as an example, let's say taking an action that puts innocent lives at risk such as blowing up a building with enemies and civilians in it.
