from the rules I am assuming one can refit weapon mounts added to the frame.. an example if you bought an additional light mount,, you could remove the mount from the frame and use the BP somewhere else.

But what about the factory installed mounts that come with the frame ?
I am thinking you could not remove the factory installed mount and use the extra bp in other places..

but I'm not seeing a problem with moving a factory installed mount to another arc..

does this seem right or not ?

On the Speed section for starships page 319 . On the table for speed and Piloting check modifier . does that refer to
1 - the ships max speed on its stat sheet. or
2 - only what speed you are moving at the present time.?

1 or 2 will do it for me .. thanx in advance ..

this is from the rule book on determining a gunnery check.

Gunnery Check = 1d20 + the gunner’s base attack bonus
or the gunner’s ranks in the Piloting skill + the gunner’s
Dexterity modifier + bonuses from computer systems
+ bonuses from the captain and science officers +
range penalty

My question is if piloting is a class skill are you allowed to add the +3 to the check ?

It does not say that so I am assuming you can only take the piloting ranks only ? Can someone please clarify this for me .
