Taking them on missions to hostile worlds.

On some missions, Spec responds to Common.

On others, they never peek out of their box.

I'm still trying to figure them out myself.

I recently adopted a "rescue" as well (purebreds are so expensive these days!)

I named them "Spec", shorthand for "Specimen", and I immediately procured a habitat box for them. Spec turned out to be incredibly intelligent, and adjusted the environmental settings on their own.

I have the uncanny ability to speak with all manner of animals, and Spec seems to understand me, although sometimes they don't seem to listen.

I should start vlogging our time together...

I've seen posts suggesting Enhanced Resistance might be nerfed. I agree it's amazing, and I plan every full-BAB character of mine to take it. Which is probably why it's being considered for a downgrade.

We decided to rule that, if you're standing on a solid surface (in this case, the floor of a cantina), then you're glued in place, but if you're standing on something like sandy soil, then you're just entangled.

The Entangled Condition reads, "You move at half speed, unless the bonds are anchored, in which case you can't move".

If you fail your Reflex save against a Stickybomb Grenade, are you effectively "anchored" to the floor?

The group I'm playing with is half experienced with Pathfinder and we're imagining the effects of a Tanglefoot Bag, but we're not sure if that's how these grenades work.
