- The Gift: It is said that hundreds of years ago, a ranger befriended a wolf who was an outcast among his pack. In time, the wolf revealed that he was more than just a wolf and that he was a creature from the Beastlands (Outer Plane) who somehow became lost on the material plane. Because the ranger befriended him, the wolf bonded with him and thus granted him the gift of being able to communicate with the creature. Since then, a few of the Fenrir have appeared on the material plane and have bonded with others of like intelligence.
