Nishoh happily tucks away the pistol, leaving the studded leather and dagger. Not thinking the coins are anything special, he picks up both of them to examine them, gasping as he feels the power. "Hey guys...you should check these out." I certainly wouldn't mind having either coin, but I think others can get more use out of them. Nishoh looks over the pistol he picked up, casually strolling to the Danoran. "Because we thought you might be useful." He twirls the gun, flipping it into the air before tucking it away. "So, are you?"

I just found an investigator talent that basically does what we're trying to do here. Applied Engineering wrote: The investigator can leverage his knowledge of engineering to solve tasks that normally require brute strength or keen eyes. He can expend one use of inspiration as a full-round action to study an object or area and attempt a Knowledge (engineering) check. On his next turn, he can use the result of that Knowledge (engineering) check in place of a Strength check to break the object or in place of a Perception check to locate hidden doors or compartments in that area. Just an interesting coincidence!

Well that was even faster than expected. Nishoh double checks that his guns and powder are sealed in his waterproof pouch, then taps the longsword on his belt. "Now or never ladies." Nishoh gets up on the lip of the boat and prepared to jump off once the others are ready.

Speaking of carrying items, we need to distribute all of the items that I have currently marked on my sheet. I opt to not carry the wand of CLW because I'm too action-dependent in combat already. Impossible? I wonder who gave it that name. Nishoh enjoys the two day trip, venturing the ship and asking questions and especially enjoying the conversations at meals. It's a good bit of relaxation to prepare them for the upcoming mission. Nishoh greets Tanya with a firm handshake, admiring her cautious policies. Can never be too careful with a mission like this. Letmas he is far less courteous of, and while he keeps a professional demeanor with a comrade-in-arms, the man's trickery magic gives Nishoh an instant distaste of the man. Him using it because he was "bored" doesn't help either. Seven-Foot Dan is an interesting fellow, but Nishoh likes him for his blunt honesty, although he politely declines in learning how to break stuff. Letmas is an interesting fellow, and thankfully Nishoh holds off his opinions about appearances until after learning of him so he highly respects the goblin for his skill-set and tenacity. Nishoh listens to the plan carefully, taking notes the whole time. At the end he ponders any holes he might be curious about, but in the end shakes his head. "Your planning is impeccable Tanya. I have no questions. Best of luck."

A wand of infernal healing is more cost efficient if the party can accept the questionable morality of using it. GM Olmek wrote: "Principal Minister Lee and his aids are providing four scrolls of pyrotechnics, two of silence, and two of passwall. I understand that he is preparing them so that one does not need magic to activate them."

Leveled up here. Nishoh carefully catalogs all of the items being given to them. He looks at the map quizzically. "Where would be the best place to approach the island from?" "We will keep a sharp eye out for Nathan and do whatever we can to protect him." Nishoh snaps to attention and salutes as she leaves. I've recorded everything on my sheet for now just for tracking reasons. I think the scrolls should be given to those that aren't action-economy heavy in combat.

Nishoh sits back with an exhale of understanding. A test, to see if we won't go the obvious path. This will either be unconventional...or illegal. Still, no harm in at least hearing them out. Nishoh sits with his face carefully held still, betraying no emotions or reactions. The Impossible, how apt. So. We're team B. All of the responsibility, all of the pressure, all of the responsibility, likely none of the glory. He sits in silence, thinking the matter over. It would be naive to ask about diplomacy, I'm sure it has already been tried. "Tell me legally where we stand. In the eyes of all. What's our worst case scenario?"

"Well met." Nishoh is quickly enthralled by the puzzle. He scrutinizes it for a moment, a grin of satisfied puzzlement on his face. "You say the streams flow like water. Do they all need to be above ground?" I spent a few minutes and couldn't find an easy solution, so it's either very complex or a trick. I love a good puzzle! Also I don't know how to delete things I put onto the d20 map.

"Your majesty..." Nishoh mutters as the king takes his leave. He lets out a long sigh and sits back down. Damnit but his arms hurt. Nishoh goes to all of the proceedings, paying close attention to the details. We may very well be in a viper's nest now. ~~~ Nishoh is looking over a schematic for a new wheel lock design when the knock comes. He rolls up the papers and stands. "Would you happen to know what for?"

Nishoh stands up at attention quickly, blinking at the sudden dizziness. He mirrors Deflt in his quick salute, inwardly glad at the quick wave, but he remains standing. "Your highness, it is an honor." He gives a bow. A humble statement is on the tip of his tongue, but he stops himself. Honestly, we probably did. Nobody else was coming. Perhaps it is best to be unassuming for the moment. Seem less than I am. Keep it simple. I'm sure this will get complicated in the long run regardless. "We simply did what anybody in our position would have, we are glad to have served. I am Nishoh Maldersha." He decided to keep his nickname to himself. This all seems to formal for such a thing.

Nishoh backs up a little. Oh crap, I hope we did this right. "Down!" He instinctively throws himself over Aurlia and Jesselle, ready for the worst. But a moment later when he's still alive (that pain in his arms is a clear reminder) he looks out at the hole in the ocean with awe. Wow. What a piece of destruction. Awesome! Man I'm so glad I payed attention to the fluff, and what awesome fluff it is! ******* 1 Rainmoot, Monday 500 A.O.V.
Nishoh had been expecting this; they had, after all, done quite a bit of damage. He looks over at the others. "Perhaps you should start with the teleporting mage..." Nishoh waits for the others to begin and tell of the people trying to destroy the ship. He adds in any details if he feels them needed, but he stays quiet until the fight below decks. He blushes at Jesselle's praise. Nishoh clears his throat. Here goes nothing. "The furnace was overheated and heading towards a meltdown. It was going to explode and take the lives of dozens, if not hundreds with it. I made the decision to start destroying the pipes, the idea was to relieve pressure. I can't say for certain how much it helped, but it is my belief that it gave us enough time to disable the remaining traitors and keep the furnace from exploding. I take full responsibility for any damage to the pipes." He grimaces. "Firing Brand was also my idea. When I was given a tour of the ship, I was given broad strokes about how the weapon worked, including that it drew off excess energy from the furnace. I came to the conclusion that it could keep the furnace from exploding by dissipating the energy into the water. In that regard, I can happily say that I was completely correct. Also." Nishoh fishes into his jacket pocket, wincing at his burned arms and pulling out the firegem. "This was the source of all the trouble. It was placed in the furnace."

Knowledge (engineering): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
"Damn, I almost got it! Everybody look around, try to figure this out!" We should assist each other. One assist will allow me to get the engineering part. What does our time schedule look like?

Nishoh nods to Jesselle, sighing with palpable as Aurlia heals him. His arms are still black, but they no longer sear and throb. "See if you can get help either way Jesselle." He stands and gives a shrug to Fortinbras. "It was a calculated risk. My kind is resistant to fire, so I was best suited for the task." I keep reading your name as "fourteen bras".
