The campaign is NOT the official Pathfinder world.
Its basic core rules (I think, you wuld have to check with the GM for that)
Its based on a roman style empire but very decadent

I play a Fighter and my friend in Sweden a cleric

"I don't think I can do it this quick Zeldin! I guess it will have to be the Tavern unless Garion and Samant can think of something!"

NIK tries to see if kitty-toy is still after the wayfinder at her belt. Nik will dangle it in various positions to test that.

guess i got a bit confused ... again!!! ... Samant talked about a door but yur of course right it was that trapdoor i think! can u confirm Samant?

NIK tries to find ways to open the trapdoor

"Hey Zeldin I think there is a good chance we find some booze this way!"

"Blessed Desna grant us fortune!"

NIK opens the door and moves aside after peeking quickly for Samant or someone stronger then tiny lil me!

"Should we go in?"

NIk whispers to Garion: "dont worry Garion I m not offended! I ve had clients at the Taberna that make Zeldin's words seem like poetry!! plus i m starting to get the feelin he isnt himself!"

NIK tries to look for signs that Zeldin may be acting weird (i mean other then his words): did he change in any way, like maybe physically?

Just in case NIK will secretly ready her sap and try to stay behind Zeldin for now, talking to him so it doesnt look weird:

To Zeldin: "Calistria knows I m all for having a drink or 2 or 3! Where do you wanna go?"

NIK eyes the cute floral pattern on the satchel, gives a BIG sigh and follows out.

"Samant will you watch my back (not my bum!) while I check that last entrance we havent explored?"

NIK will go check as best as she can: traps or ways to open it.

NIK hands over the satchel 2 Zeldin, but with a not-too-happy look on my face at being bossed around like that!

"Geeeeezzz!!! well at least you said PLEASE! ... barely!!!"

NIK turns to Garion:

"I agree we didnt find out about that: we need to press on! well when EVERYONE has recovered their MANNERS!!!"

NIK looks at her freinds

"So do we press on and try 2 find what killed the poor lady? Me I say we do!"

Nik tastes it: is it water?

Perception 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

level up? did I miss something??? Yayyy!!!

NIK will try to sniff and sample the bottle: is it perfume or booze? :)

NIK keeps the floral pattern satchel but shows the vellum rolls and the potion to Garion and Zeldin: "Hey guys are these magical?"

NIK will carefully examine the satchel, looking inside
Is it fashionable by the way? or more the functional kind?

"What do you think this vellum is Garion? Its GOTTA be linked to Lady Anita's death!"

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

"if the vellum is blank is it possible there is some secret ink? what about if there was something there but it vanished by magic after"

"Vellum that's something used to make parchment right?"

I wiki'd vellum! I didnt know it was calfskin! PETA activists wuld be real upset! giggle

CALIX: Is there something written on the roll?

NIK will finish that check then move on to the other trapdoor

"OK then lets go check it out! Are you guys in?" NIK asks Garion and Zeldin.

If everyone is willing, NIK will check out that hatch in the other room for how to open it and for traps

"Good memory Zeldin! Samant is right too: maybe they got her back here by using a secret passage"

NIK will start checking for secret passages here

After giving her quick prayers, NIK will look around the room for any hints she can find

"Guys any advice on where I should look? I'm at a bit of a loss here! How in Calistria's undergarments can Lady Anita have drowned?"

NIK looks for anything that could have water, like a tub, a pool, a fountain, or any signs of something like that

"Even if she doesn't follow the Great Desna, I'm sure she will appreciate it Garion!"

NIK takes a moment to say a silent prayer to Desna for her soul, then one of thanks to Calistria for giving poor weird dead lady Anita such GREAT taste in jewelry!

"So we found her, but can we stop here or should we also find out what happened to her? Like how she died? What's this about drowning?"

CALIX: are we close to water? what about sewers water? would NIk have a clue about that?

NIK's initial glee at finding all those nice nice thingies goes away a bit when she looks at the dead Lady Anita

"Zeldin is right: we can't leave Lady Anita like that! Poor thing! She needs the proper rites so her soul travels to the next world! Garion can you do something? Should I put some coins over her eyes or something?"

"I agree Zeldin: we cant let poor Anita just lie there without proper rites being performed. Garion can you do something? Should I put coins on her eyes or something?"

Appraise 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

To Samant: "No IMPORTANT treasures in the sense the kind YOU like! Mre the kinda treasure that makes a dancing girl's eyes light up!" giggle

NIK makes sure all that tangle of jewelry and rings is safely secured in her purse-pouch!

NIK notices the small jewelry box on the dresser. She will check for traps or locks on it and open it see what's inside.

Nik shows Garion and the others some of the stuff she has found:

"Drowned? what a sucky way to go! I sure hope Calistria gives me a more ... passion-like ... way to go when its MY time!"

NIK shows Garion and the others the vial

"I was looking through her stuff and found this: can you tell if its magical?"

NIK tries to act graceful and catch the vial (ok maybe a lil late for that! giggle)

Dex check 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

NIK tries to gracefully enters the room with a dancer's leap:

Acrobatics 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Perception 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

NIK watches to see if the small woman's chest seems to rise and fall: in other words is she breathing?
NIK checks the clutter for more metal thingies!

If there is nothing that she sees, she will a try a timid:
"Hullllooooo???? Anybody alive here??? I have yur kitty-toy here Lady Anita ..."

NIK jumps up and down very enthusiastically!
"Desna's luck I did it! I am sooooo Good! Watch and learn boyz!" giggle
NIK makes a bow at Zeldin's very nice request
"Why thank u Sir Zeldin! Come kitty-toy: adventure awaits!"

NIk tries not to mess it up and open that last lock!

Disable Device 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Can NIK finish what she started and try that last lock thing?

I'm not at GenCon: decided to stay home. I guess I got too intimidated by the event at the last minute. Remember I m still very new to gaming after all!

"No arguing there! COME kitty toy! let's back up!"

NIk retreats to a safe place, ideally somewhere behind Samant and his BIG CLUB that seems to be doing a great job dealing with the thingies!

Nik stops when warned by Zeldin, she plays a bit with kitty-toy and tries to see why Zeldin shouted this warning

"What it is Zeldin?"

CALIX: is NIK hurt bad? I m not sure if I got well how much damage she took

NIK peeks at the busted thingies then checks to see what s going on with kitty-toy, is he still hanging around?
Then she will look to the door to finish the job

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

NIK will try again to stab at the thing with vengeance.
Can she use this time the shortsword she found (and took) from the dead guard at the entrance?

ShortSword attack (or dagger): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
sword Damage if i hit: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
dagger damage if sword not possible 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
Sneak damage if that works: 1d6 ⇒ 1

there is no sneak or flank possible with a dagger throw like that right?

Sneak bonus if any: 1d6 ⇒ 3

NIK will try the jump and dagger throw, with a bit of nice dancer's grace added to the jump! :-)

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Dagger throw: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

NIK realizes Garion of Desna is still in trouble: she rushes to his help!
Can she get there in one round?
NIK who took the shortsword from the fallen guard at the entrance, will try to use THAT instead of my dagger

"did you guys see how I stabbed that thingy? And then dodged out of the way like a pro! Samant you didn't need to club it, it was about to go down anyway! ... Sure hope that's it for the Lady Anita crazy wonder toy theater show!"

NIK checks to see if all is quiet again then gets back to trying to open that door (2 out of 3 of the mechanism was unlocked right?)
