There were, in fact, many expansions to 2nd edition Talisman (the classic version of the game that most of us knew and loved). Talisman City, Dungeon, and Timescape were all mixed board, character, and card expansions. There were also three purely card/character expansions: "The Talisman Expansion", "The Talisman Adventure", and the extremely rare "Talisman Dragon". White Dwarf magazine also released some character cards back in the day.
This may not be in total keeping with your topic, but I've changed ROTRL by using Pinnacle's Savage Worlds system (with some borrowed material from Shaintar). The first session went extremely well; my players are very much enjoying the re-tooled goblins. |
