Silver-Tongued Haggler (Su): Whenever you make a Bluff, Diplomacy, or Sense Motive check, you can, as a free action, grant yourself a bonus on the roll equal to 1/2 your cleric level (minimum +1). You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
Blast Rune (Sp): As a standard action, you can create a blast rune in any adjacent square. Any creature entering this square takes 1d6 points of damage + 1 point for every two cleric levels you possess. This rune deals either acid, cold, electricity, or fire damage, decided when you create the rune. The rune is invisible and lasts a number of rounds equal to your cleric level or until discharged. You cannot create a blast rune in a square occupied by another creature. This rune counts as a 1st-level spell for the purposes of dispelling. It can be discovered with a DC 26 Perception skill check and disarmed with a DC 26 Disable Device skill check. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

Fearless: Halflings receive a +2 racial bonus on all saving throws against fear. This bonus stacks with the bonus granted by halfling luck.
Adaptable Luck Some halflings have greater control over their innate luck. This ability gives them more options for how they can apply their good fortune from day to day, but also narrows its scope. Three times per day, a halfling can gain a +2 luck bonus on an ability check,attack roll, saving throw, or skill check. If halflings choose to use the ability before they make the roll or check, they gain the full +2 bonus; if they choose to do so afterward, they only gain a +1 bonus. Using adaptive luck in this way is not an action. This racial trait replaces halfling luck.
Weapon Familiarity: Halflings are proficient with slings and treat any weapon with the word “halfling” in its name as a martial weapon.
Keen Senses: Halflings receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.

Born in Aeromnia. Named Valind in honour of the god Valindor after a Valindorian cleric kept his mother alive through childbirth with divine energy..
Grew up winning every running competition in the area, and very popular with the girls. Suspected these were gifts from Valindor, but misused them anyway - and stopped growing in his late teens (Valind is one of the shortest halflings). Took this as a warning and committed to the path of righteousness.
Joined the church, trained as a laywer and merchant.
Realising it would be many decades till he could get a real position in the beauracratic church of Valindor he agitated for a more rapid promotion - and got it with a transfer to the “New Normanland Frontier Clergy”. The fact he was teleported halfway across the world by an aggravated senior clergy on a very definitely one way trip suggested to him he was agitating too loudly.
Teleported to New Joteph by a member of the senior clergy he then spent two years being trained in the necessary local legal peculiarities of claims, as well as some training in the healing arts.
At the moment Valind is very low in the church hierarchy - this position is almost an exile - but as it prospers his position within the church grows.
