Hey all, soon to be New DM looking to get my feet with Starfinder. I was preparing encounters this morning and was a little confused going through the stat blocks.

Looking at the Space Pirate Crew Member in First Contact it shows me that their EAC and KAC is 11 and 13 respectively, but also shows me they have a Dex Modifier of +4 while also showing me they have a second skin armor on, which I believe means these AC's should be higher. Should I just chalk this up to First Contact not exactly being official, or is there something I'm misunderstanding about monster creation? Would appreciate a quick answer! ^^

Hello again everyone, I coem to you today with a question of a different nature. Eventually I would like to get into DM'ing and at the same time my partner is wanting to get into pathfinder. I've helped him make a character and now as a crash course for both of us in new mechanics I would like some advice on something that he could complete on his own. And potentially with another character that is basically there to help see him through combats. I was wondering if there are any modules that might do well to help me learn the basics of DM'ing, and he the basics of playing! As always thanks in advance for any suggestions you can offer! ^_^

Alright, so I'd like to poll some of you folks smarter than me on some of your Ideas for a cool Free Hand Fighter. I'm planning out a young "Naive" swordsman guy whom revers Cayden Cailean and hopes to one day take the Test of the Starstone himself. (Probably not literally :P) The main reason I ask is because it seems like most of the discussion on the class is pretty old at this point and I was curious what new options might be viable. So far I've thought that a dip into Shadowdancer or into Monk (Many Styles) (maybe both?) are beneficial, I'd like for him to use a Bastard Sword (with Exotic Proficiency), this is kind of a matter of fluff and aesthetic that I want to capture, so I don't really want to budge on it. I'm not specifically looking for a way to min/max, more cool ideas. I'm pretty sure mostly everyone else in the campaign I'm about to start is going to be a new player so I'm using this as an opportunity to try something new myself.

Also, I had a question, even though I said I don't specifically want to min/max I would like to get the most out of what I end up with, and I was wondering if anyone has a graceful way to scale Singleton.

At any rate, I appreciate any advice you all can give, thanks! ^_^

I've currently got a character in a Psionics game that I want to have been raised by Xeph since a very young age, due to this he has a lot of Xeph things going on in his bio, including his abilities as a soulknife.

basically my question, for fluff purposes, What in the world would a Xeph accent sound like speaking Common? There's not much info in the official descriptions. Thanks for any help you all can give.
