About Nanoq
Nanoq has been herding reindeer since he could walk. He has travelled across Icemark with his tribe his whole life, all the while being taught the druidic path by the tribe elders. Now as a young man, he feels as one with nature. He looks to the sky and feels his ancestors communicate through the northern lights, aurora.
In the northern lights, he sees his new path. He must leave the tribe behind, seeking adventures anywhere but Icemark. Good timing, as he is getting tired of the cold. From by-travellers he has heard of the Pathfinder Society, where he is sure he will find others who share his taste for adventure.
The Elders of the tribe has warned him of the Society, as they are fearful of such unknowns, but he trusts his instinct and is determined on going.
Some people in the society call him "cold" as a joke, but just because he has been trained not to show much emotion doesn't mean he doesn't feel it.
