"What do you mean the stars aren't right?" the elf general brooded over his maps that charted the progress of the war for the lost elven capital.
"Just as I said," Nadhia reconfirmed, "we cannot be fighting while the moon obscures the Eyes of Calistria. I thought you, of all people, would understand." She looks up at the constellation of stars known as the Eyes of Calistria. The way the moon progressed, it would be in front of the constellation just a scant half hour after the signal for the assault would be given. It boded ill. No. The assault would have to wait.
From her humble days on the streets of Riddleport she's progressed far - she was instrumental in saving Riddleport from a secret plot, she's gained the trust of an elven people that is known to be secluded and aloof, she's battled in the ruins of a city lost to the great Earthfall, and she's begun to hunt creatures that she's come to know as drow: a hateful and flawed people that rely on their wretched magics to wage war. Now she finds herself trapped in a strange place outside the confines of time and reason - and must seek the answers to a riddle she doesn't even know.
Nadhia is fiercely independent. Independent and driven by the need to excel beyond herself. Her meager beginnings as a cage cat - a person needed to distract predators in the fighting arena of Riddleport - have left scars on her skin, but not on her body. She's feral and fast; heedless of the dangers that tear apart lesser warriors. Her confidence brims with each passing combat, so much so that she does not don armors like her brethren but fights exposed - she relies on the swiftness of her step, the reflexes of her body, and the agility of her limbs. Similar to the way a monk trains his mind and body with discipline, Nadhia's prowess come from her superstitious resolve. She's quick to see portents and omens everywhere - but by the same token she considers her own body and mind inviolate; gaining a strength of conviction in the heat of battle that is nigh impenetrable to things as mundane as magic.
