Possibly the only aristocrat Ratfolk in all of Roland, Verrill is an alchemist that has made a fortune on developing cures to plagues and poxes, often creating quick and cheap solutions to eliminate a scourge before it becomes a problem. Verrill often attempts to raise money for the Ratfolk cause, and tries to set the best example of himself to raise others’ opinion on the Ratfolk.

Verill made his first claim to fame a few years ago, when he cured a wide outbreak of an unknown disease in the southern section of the city. Creating a cure in a matter of days, Verrill freely distributed a cure and the means for its creation, and stopped the spread of the disease to the richer circles. With his name and abilities in the papers, alchemists all over the city wanted his advice, and training.
