The Olivera name is that of one of the Heroes of Durendal. Olivera, wielder of the blade Hauteclere, a sword rumored able to pierce anything. The hero was rumored to be a powerful spellcaster, and laid the foundation for the Society of the Arcane Arts.

Pascal Olivera. Once a very loved celebrity of the noble circles of Roland, Pascal had a falling out with nobility after she murdered her parents and set half her estate ablaze four years ago. A proud firebug and exceptional sorcerer, it took the combined efforts of both Guard Colonel and two Society headmasters to capture her.

While remarkably dangerous, she has been spared the death penalty. Some believe it to be for her direct lineage back to one of the Heroes of Durendal, though others believe Council deemed her too powerful to kill, and could make for a strategic defensive or offensive unit in a potential war. Regardless, she is supposably in near isolation in an Anti-Magic cell at the island prison Durendal Penitentiary..

Pascal has managed to break out of her cell on several occasions, always through alluring her Guards. Every time she escaped she would go to the shores and cast a few spells into the waves and sky. When recaptured, she would show no resistance. Her cell is now covered solely by female guards as a precaution to her regular seduction of male guards.
