Son of Latimer Vieuxpont and eldest sibling of three. The Vieuxpont name is famous for its power and its pride, but perhaps more well known for the dubious drugs that it imports into Durendal. Frequently the narcotics teeter on the edge of the law, but as bans pass on one drug, the Vieuxpont family always finds a replacement from Far Away.

Gerome is often seen as the "good son" to the Vieuxpont name, and is largely responsible for the more morale and philanthropic acts the family conducts. Despite his efforts, the family's misdeeds far outweigh his affects. He is trusting of others, and is frequently used by those who want an "in" with the family.

Despite being the eldest child of the Latimer Vieuxpont, those close to the family know that Latimer regards his youngest, Gerome, as the true heir to the family. Gerome is said to seem uncomfortable when around his siblings or father.
