Francis Albert was raised in the streets of Roland, an orphan of the lower class. Much of his early life is comprised of rumors and stories. He joined the Guard at 16, and was quickly found to be adept at gathering evidence, tracking criminals, and knowing when those around him are hiding something. Shown to be determined to clean up the streets, he was quickly promoted to officer status. After the death of his wife, he took a year off work before returning to the Guard.

Rumors say the Francis Albert is among the most terrifying members of the Guard. He is thought to be the most intelligent man in the guard, and is said to keep potions, scrolls and wands for any possible scenario. Some claim his paranoia makes him on the verge of being mad, and that the death of his wife was the last straw. While quick to action, he has never made an attack or assault that wasn't later justified with evidence against his target.
