About NPC Cornelius Voidwalker
DC 15:
Current head of the Society and Magical Advisor to the Council. Cornelius has a stern stance on the teaching of magic. All of his actions are done for the purpose of saving and helping the people of Durendal, and sees the nations health as being more important than the freedom of spellcasting for its wizards.
DC 20:
Lost his only daughter in the crater incident. Some say that his fervor to ban magic is fueled by her death, and blinds him to other issues of regulating magic. Others say it provided the country with the oppurtunity to change for the better. After the crater, Voidwaker challanged the previous headmaster to a duel, saying he has negligence for the incident. Voidwalker, while without the same experience as the other, ruthlessly won the duel, and became a member of council by a 6 to 2 vote. He is married.
DC 25:
Voidwalker is a name with history behind it. Cornelius is one of the few men of the world to travel to other planes, and in his younger days did so recklessly. Voidwalker was known for skirting around the Ethereal plane, appearing almost from nowhere at his Material Realm destination. Since the ban on contacting other planes, he has stopped such activities.
