Catherine and Katherine Beaumont. Largely known as the assistants to Sinclair LeBlanc, and many hold them responsible for his growth as a politician. With no lineage to trace back, it is unknown where the Beaumont twins came from, and they never speak of their personal history. Between the two of them, they seem to be everywhere in the city, rationing their time down to the seconds on meetings. It is said that arriving even ten seconds late to a meeting with a Beaumont will have them cancelling and going to other matters.

There is no Beaumont family that claims relation to Sinclair's assistants. Trying to trace back the twins to before they were twelve, the time they met Sinclair, always ends in fruitless research. Some expect they are immigrants from the Faraway Lands. Others believe they are family members to someone Sinclair owed a debt to. Sinclair is known to fuel the fires of these speculations, offering wild answers in response to questions of the women, while the twins will never mention them.
