The Agnes family has always been involved in the trade of raw materials from mines, the Agnes Mining Company being one of the largest ventures in Flamberge. The family has had a penchant for finding silver. The parents of Agatha and Darius died in a cave-in during a visit to one of their mining operations, some say the event was orchestrated by bitter workers of the mine. At 14, the Agnes twins took the head of the family.
