I went through this, edited it to make it sound like it is coming from someone of noble-ish blood (Belcorra) and fixed all of the typos and incorrect names along the way. I hope someone finds this useful:
Abadius 1, 4239: A new year, hopefully more fruitful than previous years. Progress on my abomination vaults is progressing laboriously. My servants continue to complain about the time it takes to burrow through solid bedrock, and no amount of lashings nor threats will get their incessant prattling to cease. My so-called apprentice, the amusingly vain Volluk Azrinae has taken to using a shape stone ritual in an attempt to expedite work as some sort of an ill-conceived attempt to appease me. I think it makes the workers even lazier.
Calistril 20, 4239: I tire of the connections made to the Darklands and I am considering cutting them off for good. Unfortunately, the trade routes with the dark elves are too valuable, but the bothersome knife-ears vex me so. First Volluk, now a 'Chandriu Invisar' has come from the Darklands, begging to join my cause.
I don't know what they put in the water down there but I don't see how the dark elves procreate in the first place. Chandriu chases Volluk around, just as Volluk chases me, like some sort of lovesick hound. Any more 'volunteers' from these dark elves and I think I shall go mad.
Pharast 17, 4239: I am making steady progress on enchanting the lighthouse lenses to serve my needs, and work on the vaults is proceeding nicely, in no small part thanks to Volluk's shape stone rituals. I am also pleased to say I have attracted some peons with some minor magical talents, and retained them as librarians and scribes. Their diminutive magics cannot aid in construction, but can help with other necessary things which need doing. The only one of note is Nhakazarin; She helped finish preparing the last of my fleshwarping facilities, and has since been reassigned as head librarian. Her knowledge of necromancy has been - useful. Perhaps too useful…
Gozran 28, 4239: The ranks of my servants continue to swell, though there are still few of note. Most are simply craven imbeciles looking to use my resources for a quick magic lesson, while others are hoping that I'll reward them with a position of power once Absalom falls. It is the rare few who are truly loyal to the cause.
As a result of this frankly explosive growth in population among my servants, I've had to convert a large amount of the first basement into sleeping quarters, as well as add several bunk rooms here in the library to handle them all. I wonder if Tar-Baphon ever had to manage such mundane tasks.
Desnus 31, 4239: I am beginning to grow restless. While my work on the lighthouse artifact occupies the majority of my time, and logistics for the vaults occupies the rest, I am growing increasingly exhausted with both. I have found myself needing a good rest and entertainment and I believe it may provide some motivation for my most trusted as well. To such an end I have ordered the construction of a fighting coliseum; One where champions of my choosing shall fight to the death for my amusement. I await its inevitable completion!
Sarenith 12, 4239: My personal chef over-spiced my meal today, so I had him thrown in the library dungeon for a month as punishment for his ignorance and blatant attempt to poison me - but his grievance gave me a grand idea. I only have the one small prison in the library for the entirety of my vaults. I must have a much larger prison - a good ruler needs somewhere to keep their enemies of course, and it shall also act as an incentive for the workers in case they get any…ideas.
Erastus 2, 4239: Construction of the prisons is proceeding well apace. Nhakazarin had a brilliant idea; She suggested adding some torture rooms! While it is fairly obvious she desires more torture rooms to increase the frequency of creating corpses for her necromantic experiments, I can't help but find myself delighted at the idea of the screams of the deserving echoing across the floors of my vaults, so I have approved the addition of torture chambers to the prisons.
Arodus 19, 4239: I have been given a sign! A gift from the outer gods! While excavating the servants located a site where the Empty Death herself once brushed against this fragile world! Oh, it is glorious! I have ordered a temple to be erected on the spot to my most glorious of patrons! Oh, what a wonderfully vile omen!
Rova 7, 4239: Construction of my personal suite has FINALLY been completed. Situated on the level below the library, it will have all the necessities for me to relax and not be bothered by the lowborn. No longer shall I be forced to, 'make do', as Volluk so kindly put it with such abysmal chambers as I had on the swamp-infested ground floor or first basement. Work slowly continues on the temple though the reports of the workers dying…or going insane…or going insane and then dying are getting somewhat repetitive. I know she will appreciate my efforts in the end!
Lamashan 14, 4239: The Absalom Thieves' Guild has finally returned my summons and had the audacity to say that they will be willing to meet sometime next year! To think they can command ME to wait?! I should obliterate them all where they stand for their impudence, but alas they are currently more useful to me alive than dead. The information on Absalom's defenses I need is most easily acquired through them, and continuing to keep a relatively low profile remains important to my work now that the lenses are almost complete. I WILL revenge myself on them at some point for these transgressions.
Neth 25, 4239: The addition of the teleportation network has vastly improved logistics across the various floors of my abomination vaults. Combined with Volluk's idea to staff some of the floors by signing contracts with a few powerful devils and everything is coming together. Soon I will turn Gauntlight upon Absalom and the world will feel her hunger!
