Most RPG people know that Wizards of the Coast offer a pretty good rule support service, whether you agree or disagree with their answers. With that said, I recently e-mailed WotC a question concerning Dragon Issue #310, they responded by stating that I needed to contact Paizo publishing with any rule or gaming issue found within a Paizo product. Although I think it questions the true meaning of Paizo's 100% official D&D content statement. Anyway, I sent an e-mail to Dragon magazine concerning general questions with content or material. I also posted a message right here on this very board without so much as a single response from anyone. I'm a little bothered by the fact that I spend an equal amount of money on Dragon magazine as I do on D&D 3.5 sourcebooks and yet I cannot get a Paizo employee to answer a rule support question.
Once again I will repost the questions, both of which have good merit:
My two questions are in regard to the Targetteer's "Vital Aim" ability on page 39 of Dragon #310. Can a longbow be used with the "Vital Aim" ability to grant a dexterity bonus to damage? If so, can the damage bonus granted by a mighty longbow be used with "Vital Aim" ability?
Sorry for the rant, but it is imperative that gamers get the answers they need. Sometimes RPG's fall apart over rule issues and then those people will no longer have a reason to buy Dragon magazine.
Thanks,
Shawn.
