I'm new to the game and not sure of proper wording, but I was wondering if you could use the +1 AC of the buckler and the +1 AC of the dueling cape together. The rule on buckler says that, "You can Raise a Shield with your buckler as long as you have that hand free or are holding a light object that’s not a weapon in that hand." The rule on the dueling cape says that, "You can pull a dueling cape you're wearing from your shoulder and wrap it around your arm with an Interact action. While wielding the dueling cape this way, the cape uses that arm and hand, and you can't hold anything else in that hand. While you do so, you can spend an action to hold it in a protective position, giving you a +1 circumstance bonus to AC... " In my mind, raising a shield and holding the cape in a protective position are the same and there's no conflict with holding the cape in the same hand as a buckler. Any thoughts?
