You put a gun or a rifle on each roof, it's like shootin cattle in a canyon as they ride through. I doubt Slate hisself will lead the charge in, but I could be mistaken...and we'd be fightin him on our terms 'stead o his."

Mord watches his bullets hit home, and his quarry fall, dragged likely to death by his own horse. "There's a lesson...don't hex animals, they all tend to not like it much..."
He turns and walks over to the rest of the group, camly reloading his revolvers, then sheathing them, as reverently as a samurai would his katana.
"That hexer have a bounty on 'im too? Mayhap we'll need to snag him up, too."
He looks at his party, seein the rapidly disappearing wounds.
"That hammer looked a might painful, Tal." he says with a smirk, then realizes he himself was shot.."Well hell's bells, sumb%&!& got me." He'll stand in line for heals, making sure everybody gets theirs before him. "What're we gonna do with the rank feller?" he says pitching his thumb over his shoulder at the lizardman.
At Embers query about the rife. "Naw ma'am, don't have much use fer rifles. I can fix yours though, if'n you need help wit it."

I'm kinda puzzled by this scenario...why would we let them close to melee range when we know this area is used by bandits. In a dog eat dog world like this, it doesn't make sense, at all, to let them close and give them the benefit of the doubt...

Mord will simply look at them.

"I dunno who you're used to trifflin' with out here, but you can guarantee one thing: Not all of you will be gettin' a cut of what you git from us, if anything. You may get us, but some o' you ain't goin home. I damn sure ain't gonna let you take my pistols without blood, so draw, or git.

After he mediates for an hour or so in a tea room, he'll give his thanks to the bartender, and head to the Azure Crane monestary, and see about asking the Sifu there about the jade sphere...

"I reckon I got everything I'll need. I'm gonna head over to the Zen Garden, then to the Crane monestary and get some meditatin' in, and maybe ask a few questions about that jade sphere. I'll meet ya'll at the Clock 'round supper time."
He'll tip his hat at the fellas, and bow slightly to Lianne and Ember.
He gets to the door and turns.
"Sumthin' you all might wanna keep in mind...we jus' jumped to the front of the line goin' after Slate, might be some folks in town won't take to kindly to that. Watch your...behinds."
He'll mosey on over to the Zen Garden.
