Background:
Stone had no name with the orc tribe that raised him. He knew he was half-man, whatever that meant. He knew no mother. Being half-man meant the other orcs could do whatever they wanted with him. Usually this meant violent beatings. Stone hated the other orcs, but it was the only family he knew, the only protection from the vast wilderness. Stone came to realize his tribe was not a particularly powerful one. Their shaman was old and feeble, their raiders lazy. When other tribes came to collect tribute, what piddling offerings they did have were scoffed and then they'd be beaten. Which meant that Stone would be beaten by his own tribe.
Somehow he survived. The orc blood was strong inside him. After a particularly weak raiding season, Stone was given to the Shaman for sacrifice in the hopes that the appeasement would spare them the fury of the horde-leader. He was taken to the edge of a cliff by the shaman and his apprentice. His throat would be slit and he'd be kicked in to feed Rovagug. Stone headbutted the old shaman when he came behind him with the knife, knocking him to the ground. Stone fumbled to grab the knife and cut his bonds before the apprentice could get to him. Soon, two bodies were tossed into the gorge, and Stone walked west, away from Belkzen.
He survived off the land until he came across a caravan fresh from Kaer Maga. They had lost a guard despite Duskwarden protection and Stone was offered the needed position. Taking up the former guard's spare weapon, an old battered Falchion he joined the sellsword fraternity. During the course of him travels with the caravan, he helped repel a bandit attack and saved the caravan master's life. He experienced something altogether new, acceptance and friendship. By the time the caravan had reached Magnimmar, Stone was speaking passable Common and through contacts of the caravan master, took a guard job at the Serpent Run.
His intimidating physique and demeanor took the attention of one of the trainers, who offered him a spot in the games. Under the encouragement and tutelage of the trainer, a part-time pathfinder, Stone became a formidable warrior. The cheers of the crowd fed his need for acceptance. His trainer told him of the Pathfinder Society and of the "good work" they did for people. He was told of another job that had come available if he was interested...

Description:
Stone is a rugged looking half-orc, favoring the human side of his parentage. His hair is black and his skin is olive in color and could pass for Varisian, however, he has prominent fangs and blood red eyes. He bears the scars of numerous beatings at the hands of his "family", which serve to enforce his intimidating demeanor. He is 6'3" and 260 lbs. Usually dressed in simple traveler's clothes. A well used falchion is strapped across his back, two throwing axes and a morningstar hang from his belt.

Why?:
I want to compete! I know i'm a last minute applicant, but would love to play this path with this character. You'll notice my alias list is quite large and all but one are from a game that lasted more than two pages, sigh. I'd like to play Stone because at this point in his life, he's at a crossroads. A Neutral that could go either way depending on the events he encounters. Thank you for your consideration!
