About Moog
Moog the confused. That is what he was called at the orphanage, and yet it still seems appropriate today. Being a half-orc, it was always hard to fit in. The only certainty that Moog has had in his life, is his calling to the sea, which has only added to the confusion of his heritage. Moog alas, could not resist his innate desire to be close to water, and snuck aboard a merchant ship.
Having relied upon the 10 minutes of planning he put into the plan, and on his great skill of stealth, he was caught just shortly after the ship left the port. Moog was fortunate though and found the captain of the ship to be quite generous. Moog was put to work, at all the worse jobs of course. Moog felt a sense of great calm aboard the ship, and the work he was given never bothered him.
After several weeks, Moog's arcane talents were noticed by the ship's apprenticing wizard. The captain found new, and better work for Moog to perform on the ship. Everything was going well for Moog. Moog finally felt at peace.
Two days later Moog found himself drifting on the sea, clinging to some of the few remains of the ship, after its demise at the hands of pirates.
Alas, Moog survived the harsh elements and made his way to shore -- something that he thanks Gozreh every day for. Moog was penniless, hungry, depressed and bitter. The village council found him on the street begging for coins, and decided to take pity on the pitiful half-orc.
