Mokhir coughed violently as he staggered out of the Grimer's fumes. Once he resolved himself, the Cyndaquil once more leapt at his opponent, trying to ignore the weakness he now felt coursing through his body. After all, this was bravery's cost.

Tackle: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 2

@N1: Thanks for letting me know.

Mokhir blinked twice to assure himself that his eyes were not deceiving him. The Grimer appeared to be hostile; this was a great opportunity for him! However, upon seeing his ally in trouble, Mokhir's rationality and excitement were overshadowed by a surge of anger; "Wrong move,", he growled, lunging viciously at the Grimer.

Tackle: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 9
Defense?: 1d10 ⇒ 5

Mokhir jolts back as he steps into a particularly deep puddle, then attempts to dry himself by shaking the water from his leg. After making no real progress, the Fire-type returns to awareness and says "All right, team. We don't know what lies ahead, so we should try to remain silent." The Cyndaquil pauses as if noticing a mistake, then adds "But if we do find a threat, it'll experience the power of my searing flames!" Nevertheless, he proceeds with caution.

Mokhir sneaks down the western path, searching his surroundings as he does so.

"If we split up, we can find this Sunkern faster. I'll take the eastern path. Who's with me?"
Mokhir waits for any traveling companions, then travels to the East.

"Thanks, Mr. Onix." Mokhir starts towards the Deep, Dark Woods, yelling "Come on! there's no time to waste!" as he enters.

I heard it as Treebeard from Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings films.

Upon hearing the mayor's decision, Mokhir felt a surge of excitement; a rescue mission would be a fine chance for proving oneself. Weaving through the crowd, the Cyndaquil makes known its presence and its willingness to help.

"Hold up!," Mokhir cried, "You aren't leaving without me! If I must, I'll burn down the entire woods to find that Sunkern, regardless of the storm!" The Cyndaquil signs the waiver with a brush of its ash-covered paw, then tries to look intimidating as its back bursts into a display of coruscating flames.

You can all post currently, but leaving information on what days you're more likely to post on wouldn't hurt. That way, if we need to create sub-groups, like after the intro mission, we can do so easily.

I generally check these boards about twice a day, barring unforeseen events, so I am fairly flexible.

I am comfortable with either style.

Also, given that six players so far have posted in the gameplay section, should I post as well or wait for a sub-group to form?
