Our hero was born in a family from the modest neighbourhoods of Athens. Life was hard and, as the elder brother, he had to quickly get his hands to work in order to bring some
drakhmai home.
He was strong and agile, and he could beat the devil out of most of his friends' arses, so he thought he'd join the guardsmen. There he was doing good - actually, quite good. Soon, though, some other interests attracted his attention.
Long story short, he was selected to join a secret and special cult of warriors, fully dedicated to protect the Polis, worshippers of Athena Promachos as the divine defender of Her people. Special forces, trained to blend magic and weapons and deal with the most fierce of enemies, the cult of Athena Promachos taught Aristeides many things and made him grow up in a whole new level. Mission after mission, he honed his skills and forged bonds in the name of the Lady.
Recently, the Goddess spoke to them - at least according to the chaplain. There were some terrorists accruing against the divine order, and the Olimpians had sent their servants to deal with them. Different agents were sent by Athena herself to join these groups, and one of them was Aristeides.
Now he'll leave all his loved ones behind for the greater good and their own wellness. He's one of the few that can assure peace and progress to their city, and will do all in his hands to fulfill his mission.
