About Misth

Misth is a Forlorn Elf for he has grown up among humans in Varisia. He was bullied for a long time, since for humans he seemed like a child for decades. Varian is socially inept and physically quite weak. During his childhood he learned that best defense was often running away or not showing he cared about what others said. He often escaped into the world of books and later ruins for he was very interested on what came before, namely Thassilonia.

He picked up a craft from his adoptive father and became quite good at crafting bows. enough to buy himself an apprenticeship after his adoptive father had died. Varian can be quite impulsive and often gets into a trouble because of his horrible social skills and out of that trouble by using his wits.

Misth is also a good investigator and has uncowered a plot to frame pathfinders on two occasions. What he may lack in social skills he more than makes up with his brilliant deduction.

Misth spends most of his time managing a keep on the borderlands(Located between Molthune and Nirmathas) as a representative of Molhune. The reason Misth is doing that is that the keep has been built on top of old wizard tower ruins which has a large underground complex of the wizard's tower still intact. As a commander of the keep he has access to the underground areas.
