Mishanter holds off on questioning the spy waiting to see if the other spy is caught.

The tiefling scrutinized the the spy’s body language, tone, and eye movement as he related his tale. Trying to ascertain his truthfulness.

Rolls:

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 16 + 1d6 ⇒ (7) + 16 + (5) = 28

Mishanter focuses on the surrendering cloaked figure and fails to notice the the other one slinking away. He asked their captive, ”Mind telling us what you’re doing up here?”

Rolls:
Perception: 1d20 + 16 + 1d6 ⇒ (11) + 16 + (5) = 32

”I shall return, Mishanter said with a wink to Mistress Maquent before following the dwarf through his magical portal.

The tiefling gives a slight bow and what he hopes passes for a grin, ”Many thanks mistress, but I fear your divination was not free, as you have stolen my heart.” He continued, ”I am called Mishanter and I am at your service.”

Mishanter made an exaggerated attempt of looking around the room and said, ”This is a lovely place you have. Was your chandelier made by Loveage? I’ve always been worked the things would fall and hurt me.”

Bluff DC 20 (pass hidden message to companions): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23

Hidden message:
danger from above

The tiefling continued to hold his tongue trying to look inconspicuous.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16

Edit
Perception: 1d20 + 16 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 16 + (6) = 28

Edited last post in gameplay to include perception

At Pat’s words Mishater stared back at the rats, ”I wonder who or they are watching for?” Aloud he offered with a devilish grin, ”Maybe the rats are just voyeurs.” He turned to K’Tak’Ktah’hal, ”Can you communicate with the beasts?” To everyone he asks, ”Can anyone tell if the rats are magical?”

Mishanter holds his tongue most off the evening, learning long ago, No one knows how big of a fool you are until you open your mouth. He muses about the strange boy he saw and that look in his eyes.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 16 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 16 + (5) = 26

Sorry, for not posting got caught up traveling/visiting for the Easter holiday.

A brothel?. I’m up for that…. in more than one way,” he joked stifling a laugh. ”I’m sure it will make one of the best chronicles ever.” He looked around and added on a more sober note, ”we best get moving, daylights a wasting.”

Mishanter’s to was taking copious notes as the two revealed the details. He looked askance at Muziel and followed up his remarks with another question, ”Also, could you provide the dates, times, and locations of the murders as well as the victims names, addresses, gender, and how they were killed?” The tiefling stroked his chin, ”If we can’t find his lair we may be able to predict where is next murder might occcur.”

As the distinct group approached the city Mishanter can not help but wonder, Was it wise for the Heidmarchs to accompany us? It just increases the odds of our discovery,

As Sheila pays the fees Mishanter quickly calculates,Time to throw the hounds off the scent. Aloud he asks the guards, ”Can you tell us the best route to the Acadamae? We have pressing business there.”

Bluff: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17

Whoops.. I should have checked what books they came from.

Here are some wand ideas (in no particular order):
1. Shield
2. Long arm
3. Infernal healing
4. Enlarge person
5. Protection from evil

No more questions from me :)

A look of dismay quickly flashes across Mishanter’s face as he considered, A retired pathfinder and a nonmember. It means we’re expendable and deniable.

Mishanter nodded to the others when he entered the office and squirmed his oversized body into a seat. The tiefling quickly scrutinized his fellow pathfinders trying to ascertain their skills through observation. listened with a sardonic smile while the Venture-Captain briefed them. Ahh, a relic. That would explain this fisherman’s behavior, he thought while he considered the information being shared.

The large tiefling asked in his gravelly voice, ”And if this fisherman… Jarme Loveage, doesn’t want to give up possession of this relic. Is his removal authorized?”

I did not pick the extra skill for my headband (I always forget about it).

Also, I’m a Yankees fan but haven’t followed any other professional sports in years.

As far as spoilers go I’m not concearned.

I moved my points from acrobatics to Knowledge (Nature, Religion). They are now +14+1d6.

I do have Knowledge (Nature, Religion) +10**, Knowledge (geography, nobility ) +9** Knowledge (engineering) +5, Knowledge (history) +12**

Now they aren’t Uber high but I get to add 1d6 to all of them (except engineering).

If we feel we need more ranks in these knowledge skills I can put more ranks into them when we level up.

I hope the PC builds are coming along alright; they don't have to be 100% done for me to get the group together before Gameplay but please try to get a bit more done in the next couple of days -- obviously I've already got a couple of y'all's builds pretty much done -- Thanks!

I think I’m mostly done. Let me know if I’ve missed anything.

....Um, there's no dedicated healer among you and after The Styes expect a horde of combats -- obviously talking your way out of many combats is possible, if you're awesome at Bluff and Diplomacy and Intimidate and such. But still, I recommend buying yourselves Happy Sticks and better healing.

Will do. Also, If needed I can look at other classes that can heal others better or more easily. The class I play is not as important at the character.

DM Ray wrote:

More importantly, please give me a bit about your play-style, how you see your PC being played in the campaign. How you roleplay. That's really important. Same with Alignment.

Play style: I like to share the spotlight with other PCs but I have no trouble pushing the action. I tend to write short meaningful posts that interact with my environment, npcs, and other players.

PC being Played: I will play him as a loyal pathfinder extolling their motto Explore, Reprort, Cooperate. To that end he is a mission first sort of guy that has little tolerance for incompetence or excuses, liking to be in charge. He is a little gruff around the edges and doesn’t mind letting everyone else know how smart he is. Mechanically, he will be a self buffing melee combatant able to help hold the frontline. Out of combat he is a skill/knowledge monkey with some decent social skills.

How I role play: I play the character. My actions may not always be optimal mechanically but I try to stay true to the PCs motivation, knowledge, and personality.

Alignment: Hmm… LN, He is obedient to pathfinder code and his own values (almost obsessive). Once given his word is his bond, he is realistic, likes order, will not harm an innocent.

If you need me to elaborate more let me know.

Here is Knight of Yesterday’s submission. A Tiefling empiricist investigator and long time pathfinder. All the information is in the alias.

His alignment is lawful neutral I will play him as a loyal pathfinder extolling their motto Explore, Reprort, Cooperate. To that end he is a mission first sort of guy.

If you need more info, have any questions, or find any mistakes let me know.

Good luck with your recruitment!
