Just cruel forcing a GM to play an NPC that has to tell puns. Heartless in fact.

Disembodied skulls should be considered to have expert proficiency in being heartless. I'd call this a tongue-in-cheek fact, but that also does not apply here :P

It seems like the battle flute is rewarded as long as the PCs didn't end up getting beaten up.

That was how it was intended, yar :)

What's the name of the gang? They have badges, but I can't find the name anywhere!

As of the time of this adventure, they didn't have one.

Hope that helps!

1. I usually pronounce Zykyryz "Zik-keer-iz".

That's how it was in my head, although I highly encourage others. She picked the name for its unusual sound, after all! :)

Word to the wise: do not draw a bunch of spirals with a Sharpie held in your mouth. You'll inhale all those fumes! Safer to just make some crooked doodles by hand.

...duly noted! :P

Our understanding is that it's becoming a tradition for authors of the Side-Trek adventures in Wayfinder magazine to be run at PaizoCon each year when the authors are able to. Since Ivis and I both dabble in Play-by-Post, and we want to make sure PbP has a permanent presence at PaizoCon Online, we decided to offer our adventure this year, since Wayfinder decided to let us write said Side-Trek :)

Looking forward to this one!

Minor correction to the above:
Apparently the translations I was given from Japanese got switched around when I acquired some of these songs, so Track #2 should be “Tree-lined Street in the Morning” (Asa no Namikidou), not "Relaxed" - sorry about that!

Hi Mike. I take it you were following this lot around as well? :)

As we talked about, yar. Looks like they had fun grumbling their way through dwarf-babysitting duty!

Also, /waves to PaleDim. Long time no see :)

One of the more sincere accounts the dwarf shares was his first-time meeting gripplis on board : a magical, grippli-run city-barge currently taking on supplies at Hyrantam.

The missing word there is Fliptown, a location detailed in the Lost Omens: Mwangi Expanse book. Some errors crept into the final product during formatting, apparently.

Your GM gave me the thumb's up to peek in and see how you were doing with the game. First-adventure-authored-jitters and all that. I hope that's alright, and that you all enjoyed this little trek through the jungle! :)

Ooh, an adventure in the Sodden Lands and it's with Mike Bramnik! Tell us Mike, were you swamped when you wrote this?

Hmm

I got a little bogged down at first, but this was a truly fen to write - a real watershed moment for me!

Will there be a suggested playlist for accompanying music tracks? I've always enjoyed Mike's sessions, and I REALLY can't wait for this one.

There is an author-recommended playlist for running this adventure, yes! I will post that here once this adventure releases!

Thank you, everyone, for the kind words!
