About Mel Elden
Mel Elden moved to Brookside just over a year ago. She lives in a hut in the woods that she rented from the local miller, and makes bows and arrows for a living. She is 5' 10" tall, almost painfully thin, and always wears a scarf over her dark hair.
She only comes to town two or three times a week. The townsfolk know her by sight and name, but she is very quiet and has not formed any close relationships. Often she will sit in the tavern for hours at a time, listening to people talk; but she rarely engages anyone in conversation for long. General opinion is that she's an odd one and a bit stand-offish, but that she makes fine bows and arrows.
Having helped rally the villagers of Brookside to defend their town against an incursion of orcs, she has begun to become a bit more social; but her recent experiences weigh on her.
