About Maximilian Q. Viveiros

Raised on the road by his extended family of travelling tragedians, Maximilian displayed an early talent for dramatic oratory and performance.

His constant exposure to the classics of historical drama and epic poetry have given him an excellent knowledge of history, but unfortunately it has also coloured the way he sees the world. He becomes easily frustrated when the real world refuses to follow the rules of dramatic structure, and lashes out at those he sees as deviating from the narrative arc.

As a teenager, Maximilian became more and more critical of the works he was performing, irritating the rest of his clan with continual criticisms and suggestions to "improve" even the works of the masters. Eventually he became convinced that he could write them better himself, and his family were secretly relieved when he enthusiastically agreed to their suggestion that in order to achieve that goal he would need to leave the group and seek adventures to write about.

To that end, Maximilian has made his way to Absalom, the City in the Center of the World, determined to join the Pathfinder Society, which he is sure will provide a rich source of material for his writing.

Lullaby (Enchantment (Compulsion)) [Mind-Affecting] {DC 13 Will negates}: Any creature within the area that fails a Will save becomes drowsy and inattentive, taking a -5 penalty on Perception checks and a -2 penalty on Will saves against sleep effects while the lullaby is in effect.
Prestidigitation (Universal): Prestidigitations are minor tricks that novice spellcasters use for practice.
Read Magic (Divination): You can decipher magical inscriptions on objects - books, scrolls, weapons, and the like - that would otherwise be unintelligible.
Resistance (Abjuration): You imbue the subject with magical energy that protects it from harm, granting it a +1 resistance bonus on saves.
