Background:
Matthias Teskerwill was born into a wealthy family in Brindol. They were known for their strong military history and horse breeding. Matthias always wanted to see the world on his own but this did not fit within his parent’s plans. They expected him to follow the long line of Teskerwill’s and join the Brindol Lions as an officer.
His parents strongly disagreed with this path, this choice to become a cleric divided him from his parents and they rarely spoke. He moved to the neighboring town of Dennovar where he was able to study the ways of Sarenrae at her temple. He has not spoken with his parents in several years, and when he left he had a small fortune and his noble steed Humphrey to start his new life as a cleric.
