I love the chase mechanic from the Game Master Guide. It creates dramatic and fast paced encounters which have become amongst the most talked about stories from my games. What I would love is a deck of Gamesmastery cards with the a variety of obstacles that could be randomly drawn making a chase that would be a surprise to me as a GM as well as my players.

I would see the deck split into a series of sub-decks, say a sewers sub-deck and a slums sub-deck, and marketplace, noble quarter, gardens rooftops etc.

The Gm can then lay out a progression out randomly. The chase could start across the rooftops and then head across the marketplace into the slums. As the players reach the card it would be flipped over to uncover the challenges.

I think this would be a popular product and quite easy to produce.

What do you all think

Hey guys I am still waiting for my order to arrive. It was shipped on the 18th of March and although we have had problems with volcanoes over here in the old world my Paizo orders have never taken this long to arrive before.

can you help?

I would love to see Paizo produce a boardgame set in the Inner Sea region. I see such a game being a blend of the best of Risk, Diplomacy and Fantasy Flight's A Game of Thrones Boardgame. It would be a good opportunity for Paizo to explore the geography of Golarion, and how the nations interact. We have seen a lot of detail into the individual countries but I don't get a feel how the political picture looks in the Inner Sea region.

We could have a Mendevian Crusades expansion and perhaps a Cheliax Civil War set.

What do you say?

I am considering a house rule for an upcoming campaign in Golarion using the new Pathfinder rules. I am considering making a small but important rule change to how clerics work in my world. I am considering allowing clerics to spontaneous cast their spells from their domain lists instead of healing spells of the same level.

For example a 3rd level cleric of Asmodeus has selected the Evil and Trickery domains. He may choose to spontaneously cast a previously prepared spell, say Hold Person as either Align Weapon from the Evil domain or Invisibility from Trickery but not as Cure Moderate Wounds.

This would mean that only clerics who had chosen a healing domain would be dedicated healers the rest would be closer in theme to the gods they have chosen to follow.

Ok this is at an early stage of development, but do you think that this is a workable houserule? What are the consequences of this change?

Please cancel my subscription. I do love your products guys. I am not really interested in the Pathfinder RPG but if Paizo ever starts a 4E edition line I will be back.

Good luck

Paizo your flip-mat are the best thing since sliced bread, but I think that you are missing a trick. Wouldn't it be great to have a AP themed Flip-mat monthly. On the flip mat would be the key locations from each module of the current running Adventure Path. They don't have to be labelled as say 'The Old Fishery' or 'All the Worlds Meat' so that the locations could be re-used for generic Factory/Gang Hideouts.

I am starting a Pathfinder campaign shortly using the Fantasy Grounds 2 Virtual Table Top. I have been attempting to strip out some of the art from the Pathfinder#1 PDF but I am having a few problems. Are there any graphical artists or Adobe Acrobat experts out there who can help?

The Problem is that when I copy an image from the PDF and then paste it into a new document it appears with the transparency removed and replaced with a black background. Is there any way that I can retaining the transparency around the images?

I hope I am making sense.

thanks in advance for any help

I just read the recent blog and love this concept. It is a much more colourful way to look at magic than the rather pseudo-scientific way that it is handled in the SRD and suddenly the magic system of Pathfinder is firmly grounded in the Runelord lore and part of the background. Wizards aren't just evokers or enchanters they are now Lords of Wrath or Mistresses of Lust. (my titles obviously)

Is all arcane magic going to be based around the seven deadly sins are are we going to see a seven saintly virtues analog magic system to counter the Runelords magic?

Im starting to get really excited about this new setting, keep up the good work Paizo!.
