About Marrock Stonecaller
The son of a mason of no great repute, Marrock grew up fascinated by stories of great wizards and spellcasters of old, especially the few snippets he could find about old Azlanti or Thassilon. Unfortunately, no matter how much he wanted to wield arcane might like the casters in stories, he was born without any gift for magic. Or so he thought.
When Marrock was 13 he was helping his father gather stone from one of the many ancient structures that form the foundation of modern Magnimar. While doing so he discovered a rounded grey stone hidden within a wall, seemingly mundane, but which leapt to his hand the moment he drew near. That discovery, and his affinity for Ioun stones, changed Marrock's life. From that point forward he sought out all he could find on the stones, discovering two more of the dull grey kind and ever on the look out for more. Seeing the Pathfinder Society as a natural avenue to further his search into the lore of the ancients and their stone magic, he joined up.
