Personality:

"Oh father...what sort of mess have I gotten myself into? I believe even The Black Lady would wander how deep I've gotten myself.."

This is the phrase that parts young elven lips on each trek out to sea. Each time, he allows his interests in the sea, of combat upon it, and the desire to see and be part of these great stories to come crashing down upon him like a weight. Although he has great skill at working the ship, from rigging to careening to even the rare attempt at navigation, but it is his father's name that perpetually causes trouble.

Narémac Red-Coast...a name the young elf always tries to flee from. It is his father's ruthless nature that nabbed him the title of Red-Coast. A master with the blade, bow, and all manner of ship weaponry, the elf is said to have nearly secured himself a spot as Hurricane King, but due to a severe prejudice (well deserved, by all reports) of excessive force and unneeded bloodshed, those on the council nearly 100 years ago shot down his repeated attempts at the title.

Markelle distances himself, on a daily basis, from this horrendous sets of memories. Although highly proud of his father's ability to rise to such power, the youth feels his path must go a route above such things. And so he has striven to find a place among pirates and privateers who feel that wonton violence is not the answer.

So he continually practices his swordplay, learning additional techniques, new schools of thought, and even more vital moves to play to his race's strengths and play against the weaknesses.

Markelle is less likely to share his last name or his race, due to fear of prejudice and any sort of connection to his father.
