Well we had our first session of Carrion Crown last week and I have to say it, from a GM perspective it went really well.
Players
Level 1 Human Wizard - Evocation specialist (who passed DC 25 every time about the Prison and its guests), so the party is a little concerned that this young nice seeming man is some sort of serial killer fan.
Level 1 Human Fighter - A gruff old soldier who has seen many battles.
Level 1 Dhampire Gunslinger - outcast daughter of a noble house, she hides her condition (although not from the party) and dislikes Vampires who she blames for her present situation
(Not going to put too much in here about the things I have planned for them as I know at least two of the players read the boards)
The players for the sake of ease have all spent some time working as a party with the Professor and romped through the first few sections. Thanks to some awesome rolls, they found out a great deal about the situation in town without having to do any research, which of course has lead the others to worry about how the Wizard knows so much about the Prison, the Whispering Way and the prisoners...
However, before the venture into Harrowstone they want to explore the town (today's session) so lots of opportunities for fun and creepy goings on.
THe players seem to be enjoying it, with one already saying it feels like a game of CoC :)
