We are currently in the midst of our Newest Kickstarter campaign to Develop Erinbour: Places of Power.

The world is broken. Beneath the weight of a terrible curse that blights the land and without a king to serve as a symbol of hope for the world, Erinbour bleeds. But from a century of darkness, there comes hope. By sword and spell, by deed and word, heroes have come forth to face the vile beasts that are now plaguing the already weary lands of men.

More about the Project

The initial funding is for two books: a core book and Places of Power.

The core book will primarily be setting history and cool hooks with Pathfinder & BBF Mechanics to back them up. Also, because Erinbour is a land of wild and cursed magic, we're going to include an a Magic System alternative that captures the flavor of Erinbour magic. Secondly Places of Power is a campaign book which will also be statted for Pathfinder and BBF.

The goal with Places of Power is to be very open and sandboxy while also allowing for easy portability to other systems. I can say the Core book will probably be the most mechanics heavy book in the Erinbour Line but I want to be as minimal as I can be with heavy stat blocks. The Places of Power campaign will lead to an ending that will be branched such that character choice will determine which ending would make the most sense based on their play experience.

If we're funded, we will also provide system "hacks" that will be a series of guides around 20 pages each. These hacks won't reproduce the entire book, but rather are advice, guidelines and conversions to help GMs port Erinbour to other game systems as easily and quickly as possible. So basically a Book from the designers of the system on house rules to get you started enjoying Erinbour your way.

In addition to the hacks, we're hoping to fund Dynasty. Dynasty is a campaign book that will introduce a second layer of rules that creates a Birthright meets Pendragon style game and will continue from where Places of Power ends. You will have the ability to make decisions and actions that affect everything from individual counties all the way to the great nation. Earn influence by building improvements to areas and gaining support to lead the nation in the ongoing war with the Ogres.

You can Find the Kickstarter Here Erinbour: Places of Power to see the full project staff but I want to highlight our lead Pathfinder developer on the project.

ANytime, always happy to see people talk about and join in the conversation about Bounty Head bebop

It should though BHB doesnt have FTL as part of the ruleset nor does it have ALien races as the setting is a Far modern single solar system jazzed out space western... but the core rules are fairly easy to strip out of the book

They are included, however Our Supplement Blast OFF! has more in depth rules and has rules for Ship creation that makes the ship a bit more like an actual Character for the game.

And thanks Happy New Year

I will say it is but then I am the owner of Heroic Journey Publishing who publishes Bounty Head Bebop (thru Cubicle 7) so I wont hide that. Itis what we call Rules quick, it still has some crunch in teh front end of character creation, but the play options and actual game mechanics get out of teh way and allow for some Anime Fun as well as Anime craziness.

Feel Free to ask me anything about the game as I think its a great game that we want to support more of.
