About Mariel Aldalinde

Mariel's appearance seems almost like a full-blooded elf. Even if her appearance doesn't show her mixed heritage and though she grew up in the Mierani forest, she absolutely did not fit in elven society there: She has none of the Elven serenity, and to say that she lacks grace is a massive understatement. Mariel stands out immediately due to her clumsy nature and her impatient character. Inspired by the elven tradition of seeking "The Brightness" she has left the elven society, (desperately) trying find her own place in the world. She seemed to have found comfort and purpose in the arms of the Inheritor, until recent events showed her capacity for communicating with spirits. That leaves her with two allegiances to juggle, which she tries with all her might, to varying degrees of success.
