I think I'd prefer the Druid as it fits the story I've started better when compared to Ye Olde English stories.

Suspect I will play either a ranger or a druid. A defender of the river kingdoms forests, and (of course) pathfinder. For either class pick he is concerned about the increase in activity of the Spire, and volunteered for the Society's mission so as to further explore, because there is safety in numbers.

Cleric and Bard are two backup options I briefly considered.
