Feats, Traits, Racial:

Challenge: Once per day, a cavalier can challenge a foe to combat. As a swift action, the cavalier chooses one target within sight to challenge. The cavalier’s melee attacks deal extra damage whenever the attacks are made against the target of his challenge. This extra damage is equal to the cavalier’s level. The cavalier can use this ability once per day at 1st level, plus one additional time per day for every three levels beyond 1st, to a maximum of seven times per day at 19th level. Challenging a foe requires much of the cavalier’s concentration. The cavalier takes a –2 penalty to his Armor Class, except against attacks made by the target of his challenge. The challenge remains in effect until the target is dead or unconscious or until the combat ends.

Feats
Mounted Combat: Once per round when your mount is hit in combat, you may attempt a Ride check (as an immediate action) to negate the hit. The hit is negated if your Ride check result is greater than the opponent’s attack roll.

Ride-by Attack: When you are mounted and use the charge action, you may move and attack as if with a standard charge and then move again (continuing the straight line of the charge). Your total movement for the round can’t exceed double your mounted speed. You and your mount do not provoke an attack of opportunity from the opponent that you attack.

Combat Expertise: You can choose to take a –1 penalty on melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain a +1 dodge bonus to your Armor Class. When your BAB reaches +4, and every +4 thereafter, the penalty increases by –1 and the dodge bonus increases by +1. Must declare attack or a full-attack with a melee weapon.

Gang Up: You are considered to be flanking an opponent if at least two of your allies are threatening that opponent, regardless of your actual positioning.

Social Grace (Knowledge Local): Receives a +4 circumstance bonus on checks with the selected skill.

FAQ:

How does Malluma and her mount attack during a charge?
Malluma is using a Lance, which has a 10 foot reach. She Charges using Ride-by Attack which lets her move another 5 feet closer to the target after striking. This gets her mount within range, where it can attack.

4th Level: The mount gets Reach, so you no longer need to use Ride-by Attack to both attack. However, according to Sean K Reynolds, Paizo Contributor the mount cannot Move/Attack/Move in one round without the animal having the Spring Attack feat.

How are you drawing your weapon during a charge?
The charge rules let a character "draw a weapon during a charge attack if your base attack bonus is at least +1".

Are you and your mount charging?
Yes, the FAQ clarifies that "Both charge in unison, suffer the same penalty to AC, the gaining the same bonus to the attack rolls and following all other rules for the charge." Note: They are not making the same charge, allowing the rider to utilize Ride-by Attack while the mount does not. James Jacobs, Paizo Creative Director agrees with this interpretation.
