"A company that owns a PoI can link it to a settlement by becoming sponsored. Doing so creates a strong bond that allows a settlement to build roads to the PoI (improving travel times) and to send settlement guards to bolster a PoI's defenses. What a settlement gets in return is up to the PoI owners themselves, but will most likely include resource trafficking (see Outposts, below), and, of course, a boost in membership as sponsored company members automatically become members of their sponsoring settlement."

If your company becomes a member of a existing settlement, does it cease to exist or are you allowed settlement citizenship and company membership.

For example, "Malik and his malevolent miscreants form a small company. They save some influence for a Inn/manor or lets say orphanage (for totally innocent purposes). They link it to a settlement, because its good to have allies. Do they get to keep their little company?

Can a character have different levels of loyalty (for lack of a better term). For example, Group<Company<Settlement.

I don't know if this has been addressed and I missed it. I only ask because I have a core group of friends from pen and paper who plan on playing together. Any info is appreciated.

I know its way to early for any solid answers, but I would like to hear some of the communities best guesses on a few things.

1. Will spending time crafting slow your progress in main class? (I.E. My Wizard wants to make and sell) magic items, but not at the cost of power.)

2. Will a single player be able to scrimp and save up enough money to build a Inn or perhaps wizards tower on their own?

3. Anyone else hoping that "The Whispering Way" makes it in as a faction/alliance.

4. Anyone else praying that Lich may be a capstone for a necromancer..heh

That's all for now...I would enjoy to hear some speculation.
